Disabled travellers need to be sure they get a room with appropriate facilities. Acknowledging a request is not good enough. The exact nature of bathroom accessibility should be clear - e.g. whether space for a wheelchair for transfer to shower seat and WC; Position of grab rails and drop-down handrails.

I booked this hotel because my sister uses a wheelchair and we were visiting crufts at the NEC therefore we wanted to be as close to it as possible. when they built the hotel they had no consideration for people in wheelchairs making the journey from the hotel to the nearby beautiful lake and on around to the NEC center.

Whilst i believe the hotel is being renovated, the carpets in the bedroom were filthy. Looked like workmen had been in there with their dirty boots. Breakfast was terrible, Did not have no choice, we were asked what we wanted. When it arrived the sausage and bacon were under cooked.
Would not stay here again.

Terrible room.
Terrible room. The shower was separate to the toilet and there was nowhere to dry yourself in the shower. Consequently my partner slipped and fell, resulting in a massive bruise. No mats provided.
I will not be returning.

Staff were friendly and helpful . Room comfortable bed.
Staff were friendly and helpful . Room comfortable bed. Disappointed that hand wash and shower gel were empty considering price of room .
Breakfast £18 expensive but a lot of choice .
Waited along time to check in .
The hotel is just a few hundred yards from departures and not too far from the car parks, although it is a little bit of a walk, but there is a courtesy bus if you're lucky enough to be there when it picks up in the car park. The hotel has a restaurant with a reasonable selection of meals although like all restaurants these days it is expensive. The check in process was done in a minute I couldn't believe how fast and efficient it was. Our room was clean, tidy and quiet. a
A great place to stay before our flight early in the morning.
This hotel is in an ideal location for Birmingham Airport and the NEC. It is a 10 minute walk to Birmingham International train station and the link to the Airport. The receptionist was very helpful at check in and I was given a room away from possible noise but close to the breakfast area. The room was comfortable, shower was fine and with windows for good ventilation. Because I left before 7.00 only continental breakfast was available. There were excellent directions to walk to the train station.
This was the second time I've stayed at Ibis Birmingham International Airport - NEC. I returned for all the reasons I've just ticked the boxes giving positive feedback. Staff were friendly and efficient both times. The room both times were pristine clean and very quiet. Surprising given the hotel is at a very busy airport day and night. I didn't have breakfast both times because my flights were very early in the morning and I just wanted to get through security at the airport.
Me and my boyfriend booked to come here for a one night stay, we enjoyed the hotel & staff that much we booked for an next night (it was a bank holiday) the staff are lovely & friendly, John the night manger helped us out with booking us an extra night stay. The staff go above and beyond there duties to ensure the customers are happy and enjoy there stay here. Rachel the bar manager makes the best cocktails iv had in a long time.
The room was good and bed was very comfortable, very minimal noise and cleanliness was good. Overall, my experience was very negative (service side) and hotel was under construction, no communication of power outage from 11pm-3am other than posted in elevator. Only saving grace for my stay was Rakesh who made time to speak with each guest in the bar and make a personal connection. His customer service skills were exceptional.
The hotel i situated close to the airport. The monorail brings you in 5 min to Birmingham international for free. The breakfast was tasty. The renovation og the hotel and rooms is noticeable. The room was comfortable, cosy and clean (with ironing board and fine hairdryer). The concierge (white-haired man) was EXTREMELY KIND!!! As well the cleaning mail staff on 5th floor was very supporive.
The location of the hotel is very convenient for the concert hall. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The lobby was very beautifully decorated. The staff were friendly and helpful. Great pool and saunas as well! We enjoyed our short stay and would definitely recommend this place.
Great hotel, with free shuttle bus to Birmingham airport and the NEC. Friendly, helpful staff. The rooms and beds are really comfortable, with nice food (a few vegan/vegetarian options). Large, covered outdoor smoking area with seats.
Lovely location not your usual generic hotel, very clean , very helpful staff also great knowledge of the local area, bed was so comfortable, just minutes away from the airport, when we fly from Birmingham Airport we will 100% return.
Beautiful area and grounds. Very clean, food lovely and staff very friendly and helpful. Lovely seeing the deer roaming the golf course. Hotel a little dated but everything lovely and didn’t particularly bother me.
Arrived into Birmingham International late on night and short taxi ride to hotel was perfect. Leisure club to use next morning before being on my way. Perfect location for airport so booked for my return too.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. The location of this hotel is excellent for super easy access to Birmingham airport. Comfy bed too and it was a nice touch to have a welcome drink.
Liked that it was very basic design with no frills. Very near to the NEC. Price was OK for a budget hotel at Birmingham Airport. Mono rail from the airport to the NEC was handy.
Clearly the hotel is very convenient for Birmingham airport. The hotel and room are very modern and very clean. Full restaurant facilities are available if required.
Even though it was a short walk to the airport, the hotel was still quiet and classy.
The on-site restaurant was very good, with plenty of breakfast options.
