A very friendly hotel in a great location. The room was well equipped and the bed comfy. I ate in their Asian restaurant which was excellent and reasonably priced. Breakfast was equally good.
Parking is available as long as you book in advance and I was pleased to be able to use on of the 4 EV charging points (PodPoint).

Idyllic location with beautiful walks right at your doorstep, we found this traditional style inn to be steeped in good, old-fashioned country charm. It's comfortable, clean, has an excellent, modern menu and moreover, really lovely staff providing superb service. My partner and I loved it and would highly recommend to our friends and family for both romantic or family getaways.

The elegant spa town of Harrogate has some of England’s finest Victorian architecture. Lush greenery and colourful flowers also add to the stately atmosphere.
The main attraction is the Turkish Baths and Health Spa, in a 19th-century building which maintains its original Moorish interior design. Nearby is the Royal Pump Room Museum, set over Europe’s strongest sulphur well and detailing the town’s history.
One ongoing Harrogate institution is Bettys Tea Rooms which serves fabulous afternoon tea. Surrounded by the unique shops of the Montpellier Quarter, it overlooks gardens which continue south to meet The Stray – over 200 acres of parkland whose vibrant spring blossom is quite a sight. On the opposite side of town are the Grade II-listed Valley Gardens, whose bandstand hosts summer concerts. The gardens merge into a pine wood which neighbours the acclaimed RHS Harlow Carr Gardens.
Aside from its visual beauty, the town is also important for conferences. Harrogate International Centre is one of the UK’s top convention venues - just one of the reasons why the accommodation industry here is thriving.
Options on Booking.com include 5-star hotels with spas, cheap apartments near the train station, and guest houses with parking. The nearest airport is Leeds Bradford Airport to the south.
Harrogate is the smartest, cleanest town Iv'e ever been in.
Harrogate is the smartest, cleanest town Iv'e ever been in. Loads of green spaces, loads of very smart independent shops, lots of different places to eat and drink I recommend The Taverna (Greek). and the biggest and smartest Weatherspoon's in the country. Lots of interesting local history Overall Brilliant!

Lovely small spa town in North Yorkshire which maintains some of its regency charm. There are still independent and characterful shops. Lots of green parks & gardens, plenty of good restaurants/eateries of all types and levels, including the famous Betty's. Similarly good hotels. guest houses & rental accommodations. RHS Harlow Carr 1 mile out of town is superb any time off year and has a lovely Betty's Tea Room. (access before garden entry) . Easy access to lots of other places or quick train to York.

Most of all, the friendliness and kindness of the locals.
Most of all, the friendliness and kindness of the locals. It has lovely green spaces and parks, interesting and historic buildings (The Royal Hall is particularly magnificent). Great food - we ate dinner at our hotel, The Crown, and The Cattlemen's, and Gianni's - all were excellent. Good for shopping - individual speciality shops such as Woods of Harrogate, and Duttons, being two I sought out as their high quality goods and extensive range are not easy to find even in the vastness of London; as well as the usual high street chains. Close to Knaresborough, Ripon, the dales, and much more we didn't have time to visit. We'll just have to go again.

This was my first trip to Harrogate and it did not disappoint me. Having been to York many times which I thought was a wonderful place to stay, I am now sold on Harrogate. It really is quite unique with all its green and beautifully maintained open spaces, yet there were so many lovely bars, restaurants and gorgeous boutiques to wander round it was a fantastic experience all round. I shall definitely be returning soon with the bonus of being able to go to York for a day whilst there.

We chose Harrogate as a hub for making other local visits but was worth a longer stay. Good range of shops, extensive green parklands and a range of top restaurants. Taverna, a Greek restaurant, was particularly good; warm welcome, friendly staff and excellent food well presented.
Everything was an easy walk from our accommodation, but Harrogate is ideally placed to get to Leeds, York and local countryside.
Our age precludes us from commenting on facilities fore the young, but there were plenty of younger folk clearly having a good time!
Beautiful town… definitely recommend Harry’s walking tour. (Free and very entertaining and informative) we have a tip at the end of it.
Felt safe, lots of restaurants, shops and history. The valley gardens were fabulous too.
We stayed one night here on our way through Yorkshire. Location is wonderful as it is in the heart of Harrogate. The hotel was lovely and the room was really nice - no view out of the window but that is not typically how we rate a hotel based on one night stay there anyway.
We ate in the restaurant - the Fat Badger - and the food was wonderful. The bar area is also a lot of fun.
We were lucky that we found a parking space in their garage as they do warn you that parking is limited.
Overall a great stay and would stay there again.
The facilities were fantastic! The spa is a massive perk and very relaxing. The restaurant was nice and food - while small in portion size- was very enjoyable. All areas of the hotel had a fantastic atmosphere and staff really went out of their way to make us feel welcome.
The location is ideal, it is in the centre of Harrogate while still isolated from the busy streets, it was a 10 minute walk to the train station, allowing us to really explore Yorkshire!
Lovely hotel comfy beds nice and clean in a good position for walking into town. Checking in I paid by cash and gave too much money the man on reception was very honest and gave it back is name began with K. The only fault was the bar waited for a while to get a drink it was very busy and there only seemed to be one person serving. But we had a lovely stay and would definitely stay with you again.
Excellent hotel staff very friendly and helpful upgraded to a superking with lounge access which was extra special as if was our wedding anniversary very good value for money excellent location only a few minutes work to the centre of harrogate we had an evening meal in the springs restaurant which was very good breakfast was excellent aso the hotel was very clean and well mentained
Beautiful stately old hotel in just about the best location in Harrogate that is convenient for all Harrogate has to offer, especially for those with mobility issues. Staff was very helpful in response to all our requests. Wonderful elegant old dining room with plenty of room between tables. Good breakfast choices. Pleasant bar staff.
Wonderful welcome at this super lovely B&B Hotel tucked away in a nice quiet street in a central harrogate location. Excellent customer service and the breakfast was perfect! Hosts really want to ensure you enjoy your stay, with a couple of little extra treats offered making our stay extra special - highly recommend !
The hotel is in a great location near the centre of Harrogate, plenty to do nearby that’s only a short walk away. The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was well presented with a comfy bed, tasteful decor and provided Yorkshire gold teabags, the TV was in good working order and the WiFi was decent.
Well located hotel within easy walking distance of the centre of Harrogate and the Valley Gardens. The room was quite small but well equipped and with a lift for easy access to upper floors. Free parking in the centre of the town was an added bonus.
Perfect location, close to the town centre and the lovely Harrogate Stray. We only stayed overnight so didn't really make much use of the facilities but have been to the hotel restaurant in the past and know its very nice as well
The room was clean and comfortable but slightly cold.
Breakfast on the Friday was good - buffet, but the weekend breakfasts were a disaster.
Location of the hotel was ideal as one could walk to all parts of the town easily.
Amazing hotel, super staff, exceptional service, great location. One of the best hotels we stayed in on our trip to England. We would highly recommend the Harrogate inn hotel & Harrogate - fabulous place.
The hotel and grounds are beautiful, the staff are friendly and incredibly helpful, there was a great selection of items for breakfast and it's walkable proximity to the centre of Harrogate is excellent
Lovely hotel in the centre of Harrogate, close to bars and restaurants, not cheap but when the quality is there I don't mind paying which this hotel oozes ! Lovely hotel in a great location.
Beautifully decorated cottage with 3 lovely bedrooms. Check in was really easy with loads on information from the host. Directly opposite the pub which serves great food. Close to Harrogate.
10 min walk to the centre of Harrogate from the hotel. Quite surroundings, friendly staff. The hotel will be excellent when the refurbishments are all completed.
Nice clean comfortable room. Very quiet neighborhood and the hotel seemed quiet (although the rooms near mine were empty). About a 10-15 minute walk into town.
This hotel is perfectly placed right in centre of Harrogate.good value, rooms tidy and staff helpful and friendly.we have stayed here before and will again.
