We absolutely loved our stay here. The adorable dogs greeted us outside. Our room had the most incredible view. The place as very comfortable and the pool area was perfection. Staff were very friendly and gave great recommendations for the rest of our trip!

I can’t say enough about our stay here. The area is beautiful, the room was perfect (that view!), and most importantly, Maarten is the BEST host. Breakfast was fantastic, his wine is excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed the vineyard tour. A must do! We spent two nights here (only one would be a mistake!). We made quick friends with other guests, and spent much of our time enjoying wine and laughing with them and Maarten. Maarten also has wonderful suggestions for meals, wine tours, and gave us a great tip for a pit stop during our drive to Porto following our stay. Do NOT miss the opportunity to stay here!

Everything! Best location/view in the Douro. We wish we would have eaten dinner at the hotel instead of at Bom Fim (though this was very nice). The views and staff are wonderful. We wish we would have stayed longer. Highly highly recommend!

A family run hotel and winery that's nestled in the hills of Pinhao. Might have been the most quiet room I have ever slept in. Wine tastings and tours are also offerred here - I would highly reccomend.

We stayed at Ventozelo Hotel and Quinta as a convenient stop on our route from Porto to Salamanca. One night here is not enough if you crave peacefulness and the outdoors. If there had been time we could have walked to the river and through the vineyards, relaxed by the pool.

Levi and his wife were perfect hosts offering very helpful information and a friendly welcome . The property was very well appointed and comfortable set in a beautiful area. The breakfasts need to be sampled to be believed - wonderful home made fare ! A car is definitely advisable but this is a little corner of the Duoro not to be missed . Thank you for a wonderful stay
