Fabulous facilities. Hotel upgraded to a high standard. Large bedrooms, very comfortable beds, and lovely decor throughout. Spa facilities great and all clean and well equipped.. Staff were lovely and atmosphere was relaxing. Bit pricey which is the only downside.

Nothing was a problem for them, organising flowers as we were celebrating our 25th Anniversary, booking a table for dinner, offering advice on things to do near by and much much more. On check in the team were brilliant, friendly welcome and a complimentary drink (thank you). Throughout our stay the team were amazing, always happy and made sure we had everything we needed. Beautiful building full of character, the staff were friendly and made us feel very welcome, clean spacious room, comfortable bed, tasty breakfast and all in all a lovely atmosphere. We live in The Netherlands and were traveling with 2 children (aged 1 and 4). The staff really looked after us and made sure we had everything we needed. A baby cot and comfy camp bed were provided for the kids, there were plenty of high chairs and the staff were thoughtful enough to even put some extra bottled water in the room for us.

The facilities were excellent, and I particularly enjoyed the sauna with red lights—it was the perfect way to relax after a long day of hiking. The location was amazing, with a stunning cliff and several caves just across the road. Unfortunately, I didn’t bring the right gear this time, so I could only explore two caves, but it’s definitely a reason to come back! The small waterfall and creek right outside the house were lovely touches, and during a morning walk, I even came across a hidden pond in the woods nearby. The outdoor BBQ area was another highlight—this place has everything for a perfect getaway. I’m already looking forward to returning in the summer to enjoy cave exploring, hiking, swimming, the sauna, and a BBQ under the stars.
