Set within the Baroque-style centre of Solothurn, Boutique Hotel La Couronne is one of the oldest hotels of Switzerland and was completely renovated in 2016. The staff is very friendy and helpful. They are very pet friendly. Hotel is beautiful and location is perfect. Will definitely book this hotel again.

Hotel Amaris is located in Olten, in the vicinity of the train station, near the picturesque old quarter city. The hotel offers sophisticated rooms and suites, as well as seminar and meeting rooms. Hotel was perfectly located from Olten Bahnhof and I was surprised with an upgrade to a larger room facing the station - so this rail enthusiast was in heaven. Olten is a small town but has a busy junction linking nearly all Swiss major cities - so the variety of train moments is staggering. I don't think I ever saw an empty platform. The room was spacious with a maasive bathroom and a balcony with a chair completed the perfect space. I only wish I had longer to stay.
