Very central. Close to commerce, the metro, and public transportation all around. The location is central, in a good place. Really in the heart of the city. The apartment itself had good views of the area around it (street, metro, other buildings, etc.). No ocean views. There are no keys to keep track of (except for the fob to the building parking lot gate, if you are driving). The entrance to the building is secured with personnel in the front desk and intercom to get into the building (citophone), so people just won't come into the building from the street that have no business in the building. Three elevators to get to the floor your are at (and stairs, of course). There is a roof top small swimming pool that you have access to. There is an area for outdoors tables with a grill (coals) that you have access too; as well as a gym. There are two bathrooms and two bedrooms in the apartment. A futon in the living room. A full kitchen. Bedding was sufficient, towels, and plates/cups/silverware. TV with local channels in the living room area and the master bedroom. Newer building. Good size refrigerator. If you want to be in the middle of Vina del Mar, this is very centrally located. We had problems with withdrawing the cash (didn't have online payment available for us), and the owner was willing to be flexible and make arrangements to come back to get the payment to give us time to sort things out with our card. Due to the central location, there are many close by exchange houses (to exchange currency), and we were able to pick up the money transfer we sent to ourselves through Xoom, at a nearby Aflex location (to pick up money to pay the rental, since the ATM machines in the nearby banks did not work for us to withdraw money). They have a laundry facility (it uses coins) in the building.

We had a fantastic stay.

Perfecto for a relaxed weekend stay. At first I was kind of sceptical as the photos didn't seem too promising (I would recommend them taking better pictures) so very positively surprised. Kitchen has everything you might want to ask for. Great!

It felt safe and was in a good location. The host was very generous and allowed us to leave our bags there until later in the day.
