Set by Erhai lakeside, Hotel Indigo Dali Erhai offers accommodation just a 10-minute walk from Erhai Park. Free WiFi is available in all areas and the property boasts a fitness centre. The location is not near to the old town, it takes around 15 mins by taxi to it. However its view of this hotel is fantastic, I really enjoyed the sunset view from my balcony.

Fantastic staff, so friendly, feels like a family run business where they really care and look after you. Great room, spacious with excellent aircon, massive comfortable bed, strong shower. Great location near lots of good food and 5 mins by taxi to the night market on other side of the river (a must visit).

The InterContinental Kunming is located in Dianchi National Holiday Resort by Dianchi lakeside, a 10-minute drive from Yunnan Nationalities Village. Free WiFi is available in all areas. The staffs are helpful friendly and always offer help when requested. They are well trained with highly etiquette. Few worth mentioning occasions are a concierge staff offer to drive me near to the lake where I wanted to go baggie and show me the hotel surrounding. Gardening staff politely wait for guests to walk past them before carry on their jobs. Staff try their best to extend for me a late check out where by flight is at mid-night. A management staff offer to bring me to the correct lobby lift and more. Overall a very pleasant experience. Thank you and will come again as along as you maintain your high standard service and pricing.

Making the traditional modern, the luxurious InterContinental Lijiang Ancient Town Resort presents beautiful Nakhi courtyard architecture, surrounded by lush greenery. This hotel is absolutely splendid. It occupies an area as large as a neighbourhood. It's right within Lijiang Ancient Town, possibly the most beautiful old town in China. There's a main building with the lobby, the restaurants, the cafe and the spa but the rooms are scattered around the property is small pavilions. I got a free upgrade to a Premium Room which was the most beautifully decorated hotel room I've ever had. The room was spacious, very quiet and had everything I needed. I felt that the bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept in. There was a bathtub and a shower in the room. A room of this quality would cost around 1800 € in Europe. The choice at breakfast was huge. Overall this is a luxury hotel, well above the average of the worldwide five-star standards, yet you would need to pay considerably more for this quality almost anywhere in the world.

The hotel is exquisitely decorated with a distinctive Nanyang retro style. It boasts excellent scenery, featuring a dedicated viewing deck on the third floor where you can admire the Cangshan Mountain. There is also a "sky mirror" perfect for photography. The toiletries are well-stocked, and the bath amenities are from Penhaligon's. The breakfast is delicious, and the overall experience is highly recommended.

Loved the attention to detail: fresh towels folded like swans, a clean minibar restocked daily, and even the remote control was sanitized.10/10 for hygiene!

A recently renovated bed and breakfast in Diannan, Shaxi Upstay offers outdoor fireplace, private parking and sports facilities. This charming boutique inn was one of the most amazing hotel stays I've ever experienced in my life. For me, it hit all the right notes. It was comfortable, modern, invigorating, great location, the village was enchanting, the hosts were extremely kind, the food was exceptional, the setting is as good as it gets, the building and courtyard had character and history, there was fresh Yunnan tea in the rooms, the views were exceptional, it was quiet and calm, and on and on... Highly recommended, I think about this place every day since I left.

My room was very comfortable and modern designed with spacious bedroom. Stunning view of the city. The best room i got during my trip in China. Also the location was great i mean close to everything (metro, bus , attractions).
