The serene location on the riverfront of the Nile River made my stay a scenic delight. Awi and his family are the best hosts anyone can wish for. The breakfast on their riverfront terrace was delicious and a highlight of every morning. They arranged a motorboat for me to visit the Nubian Village in the afternoon. And it was a memorable trip filled with thrills and fun. Seeing the sun slowly descending over the river, lighting up the landscape with glorious colors was amazing. Awi's son operated the motorboat, and guided me through the Nubian Village. He was a wonderful guide and spoke excellent English. And they also arranged an enjoyable trip for me to see the unfinished obelisk and the High Dam. The studio had big windows facing the Nile River. And I could see the feluccas and boats and ferries plying up and down the waterway from my windows. What a treat! And Awi also helped me buy groceries on the Elephantine Island. And carried the groceries back to my studio! I appreciate all the generous help and courtesies the family gave me during my stay there. His wife, Fatma, and his two children were hospitable, friendly and charming. And Fatma is such a good cook! I love the falafel, the potatoes, the beans and salads she prepared every morning. The coffee and tea were also great.

Very nice family style hotel on the quiet side of Elephantine. The staff were very friendly and always ready to answer our questions. They helped us carry our large suitcase from the ferry to the hotel and from the hotel to the ferry. They arranged our trip to Abu Simbel and everything worked well with no delays. They also arranged a last minute pick-up at the airport when we arrive. The room was clean and comfortable. Overall, it was pleasant stay, and we would definitely go back. Mohammed is a wonderful host, is it obvious that he likes to help his guests and that he want to maximize their experience in Aswan.

It’s literally just two minutes from the Abu Simbel Temple — the perfect location. The property is new, beautiful, and spotless, with a stunning infinity pool overlooking the desert and Lake Nasser. Watching the sunset from their terrace is truly magical. The food is delicious and freshly made, but what really makes this place special is the people. The staff are incredibly warm, kind, and attentive. A special thank you to Asma, who greeted me so warmly at reception, organized my airport transfer, planned my morning visit to the temple, and helped with every little request. She was always available, caring, and made sure I felt completely comfortable during my first time in Egypt.

Very very very quiet place to have some peaceful moments for your soul 2. Nature evey where especially that the guest house is built in a nature preserve so you would see a lot of creatures in there nature 3 . Staaaffff what a great group of people they were very friendly very helpful and very kind to top all of that 4 . Mr. Nasser which is a great person ,helpful ,kind and smile bringer 5. Owner of the guest house Mr . Waleed is very kind and very helpful man ( he helped me puying some top quality spices and brought me a boat cruise for a very good price ) 6. Lamiaa the receptionist with the great smile kind attitude and warm welcoming 7. Mohammed and Mahmoud of the buffet they are the best 8. Top quality of food the chef was 👌 9. Amazing room space and cleanliness and one of the most amazing room views I have ever had Over all it was an experience that would never be forgotten with evey detail of it and actually I stayed there for 7 nights but I didn't want to leave at the end of the reservation that's how I was attached to the place

Their breakfast is delicious and fairly priced, and you must go on a sunset felucca ride with Mustafa, it’s an unforgettable experience. He also offers motorboat tours; we didn’t have time to try them, which just gives us a good excuse to come back. He can even help arrange your Abu Simbel trip or any other transportation at a very fair price. This spot is a little corner of paradise in beautiful Aswan. Don’t stay in the busy city, come straight to Elephantine Island. You’ll find peace, kindness, and a true escape from the traffic and noise of Egypt.
