Gorgeous place, amazing, locally sourced breakfast ingredients. Everything clean and charming, owners and employees courteous, helpful, and fun.

A very comfortable room with a view overlooking the port of Le Palais. Beautifully decorated through out the hotel. Modern shower room. In a quiet location. An exceptional breakfast, with mainly organic , local produce. Plenty of variety each day. The staff were helpful and friendly. 10 minute walk to port and all commerces. Restaurants and bars all within walking distance.

Hôtel de Bretagne is located in Le Palais, on the island of Belle-Ile-en-Mer, and features an on-site restaurant with a panoramic view of the port. Neat and clean as a pin, fantastic view out onto harbor where a storm was blowing in, cleverly designed space so a small budget room didn’t feel cramped for 2 in twin beds. Best: the staff! We arrived late on the ferry which nearly had to return to Quiberon after a technical problem at the dock. We looked for an open restaurant (off-season) and couldn’t find one anywhere, so the night manager convinced the closed kitchen to make us two lavish marinated fish salads with bread and wine. The next day we realized that we had miscalculated the off-season bus schedule and after every taxi service turned us down, he phoned Felix the hotel director to take us out to see the needles of Port Coton, Monet’s subject. He threw in a small tour of the island, getting us back in perfect time to catch our ferry. What service!!! Better than the fanciest hotels of our stay in France. Highly recommend.

The Castel Clara Hotel overlooks Goulphar Bay, offering views of the sea and the sculptured rocks. It features a indoor heated seawater pool and a thalassotherapy spa centre. The location is fantastic, the hotel is modern, but not austere. The food is gourmet and the staff are all amazing.

Le Cardinal is located on Sauzon Bay, on the coast of Brittany. It has an outdoor swimming pool, a children’s playground and there is a small beach at the foot of the hotel. It starts with the location overlooking the Sauzon coastline in a beautiful spot in nature, continues with facilities such as amazing rental and storage of bikes, then pool, sauna and jacuzzi all set in beautiful settings with crazy views, up until the food which was a real surprise for a 3* hotel. The vegetarian restaurant is really worth it, their dinners tasty and creative and their breakfast really worth the price, the best I had in years, all homemade and delicious. Great presentation, plenty space, also outdoors. Finally, the staff - both at the hotel and the restaurant were exceptional. Not used to such level of warmth and professionalism in France. Will definitely be back!
