All the staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. The hospitality tray was filled with beverages and snacks along with 2 bottles of water. It was a bonus to have a fan in the room as I like to fall asleep to white noise. The restaurant food was delicious and the breakfast was cooked to perfection. The swimming pool looked inviting but unfortunately we didn’t have time to use it, maybe next time we will as we like the hotel so much we've already booked another stay!

The host reached out 48 outs prior to welcome us and included detailed instructions. Designated off street parking. Fully equipped kitchen and starter set for coffee and tea. Comfortable bed. Short walk into the historic town. Beautiful views of the Park (Stray) across the street. Very nice Waitrose just around the corner as well as Cook! for prepared meals. The beautiful bathroom is quite compact so be aware that a plus-size person might not be comfortable.

The staff were exceptional - always friendly, always smiling, always professional and helpful. The food was outstanding - the chef took time to come to our table to personally tell us about one of the dishes and even brought our dog a yummy treat. Talking of our dog - she was given a soft bed to lie on in our room and was welcomed throughout the Inn. We loved our stay and look forward to returning one day.

Loved this apartment. Very well appointed and beautifully decorated with everything we needed. Beds were really comfortable. Quiet area not far from town, so easy walkable to train/bus statuon and bettys tea rooms! Great instructions for getting to and into apartment. Had a great stay, and if we are back in this beautiful area, we would want to stay here again.

We had a gorgeous dinner on the Friday evening after a long drive up from London. It was a really well thought out menu and it was delicious. The wine list was also great and complemented the menu really well.

I really have no words to describe the perfection of the Old Stables room (loft? Mini-apartment?) I would happily live there forever. The room was huge, beautifully decorated in a fabulous equestrian motif (the Farrier is at the original blacksmith shop), sparkling clean, and too many amenities to list. The food is delicious and plentiful. We had the full English breakfast and it set us up for the whole day! Everyone on staff were really lovely and so kind. I wish we could’ve stayed for more than one night!
