Upon inquiry, staff recommended “Liebe” as “steak place,” and we had a blast! Steak was very good and not expensive, allowing us to bring our own wine upon payment of minimal corkage…bravo! The hotel is very secured with a big main door that requires guests’ keycards to open it and an elevator that automatically sets guests to their respective floors. Rooms have separate toilet and bath, well-provided with amenities/toiletries and it is possible to open the window to let Kumamoto’s cool winter breeze (brrrrr🥶) in. There are english-speaking channels available and coffee at the lounge is free-flowing.

Located in the heart of the city, Hotel Nikko Kumamoto features accommodations with free wired internet access and views of Kumamoto Castle. High-level service. The hotel is a bit dated, but its very central location makes it great value for money.

Impeccable all around service, location, everything! I loved the kitchen and seating area where we could wind down after a day of sightseeing and delicious food. The beds were so comfortable and calming. The surrounding neighborhood had delicious food and kind people that made us feel welcome on every corner. It was fun going to produce markets and coming back to our home away from home. Kumamoto rocks and the venue confirmed it.

Minami Aso Guest House Hana hana - Vacation STAY 13316 tọa lạc ở Takamori, cách Công viên Suizenji 41 km, Lâu đài Kumamoto 42 km và Hosokawa Residence Gyobutei 42 km. The place was amazing. Well equipped and clean. The kitchen was fully equipped, better than my own kitchen at home and had a mashing machine/ dryer we could use to do the laundry. The host was super sweet, showed us around and taught us to use the fire place.

Established in 1941 and renovated in 2005, Ryokan Ayu no Sato features multiple indoor/outdoor hot spring baths, both Japanese and Western-style accommodations and free WiFi in public areas. The interior space is very welcoming. Breakfast and dinner were excellent (good value). The staff was extremely friendly and warm. The location is nearby downtown area and Hitoyoshi station.
