The owners were kind and welcoming, and they did everything they could to please us and help us with anything we needed — even offering to drive us with their own car since we didn’t have transportation. We would gladly stay here again the next time we are in the area.

The menu, the different dishes, the open kitchen , the staff - a beautiful evening to remember for a long time. Thank you to the crew from the hotel/ restaurant for that wonderful weekend.

I recently stayed at Van der Valk Hotel Leeuwarden and was thoroughly impressed from start to finish. The hotel is modern, spacious, and immaculately maintained. My room was large, with a comfortable bed, stylish décor, and a spotless bathroom equipped with a rainfall shower. Small touches like the coffee machine, generous desk space, and quiet atmosphere made it perfect for both work and relaxation. The breakfast: unfortunately I didn’t have the chance to try the breakfast. Location-wise: the hotel is just outside the city center, making it easy to reach by car with free parking, yet only a short drive or bike ride into Leeuwarden’s charming old town. What stood out most was the staff: friendly, professional, and genuinely eager to make guests feel welcome. From check-in to check-out, everything felt effortless and well-organized.

I stayed in a double room with a kitchen and 2 shower rooms and 2 toilets. It is spacious. This property located in outskirt of the city Holwert. It facing vast farmland. If you like to stay at countryside, this is an ideal place.
