This was the most charming and beautifully designed guesthouse we have ever stayed in. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth and kindness. As first-time visitors to this country, we felt incredibly lucky to have met Marianne and Lars, who not only made our stay unforgettable but also took the time to share the history of the hotel and the Norwegian way of life with us. In the morning, they prepared a delightful breakfast, and we sipped our coffee on the terrace, taking in the breathtaking view. Every flower in the house was vibrant and full of life, a reflection of the care and attention they put into every detail. Even though we were their only guests that night, they went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Marianne and Lars are truly exceptional hosts, dedicated to creating a warm and welcoming experience for their guests. We are so grateful to have had the chance to stay here and to have met such wonderful people. It felt like home—filled with comfort, kindness, and genuine hospitality. Thank you for everything.
