Featuring a terrace and views of city, ibis Styles Chaves is located in Chaves, less than 500 metres from Chaves Thermal Spa and 50m from the city center. Location is great, as Chaves is a small place and you can walk everywhere. Breakfast was amazing. The staff was great too. The bed was very comfortable and there were no issues with TV/wifi.

This is a very plush hotel set right beside the castle. The hotel is very modern but has been done sympathetic to its surroundings. Everything is spotless and the staff are excellent. The beds were supremely comfortable.

- Offering a natural setting in Ribeira de Pena, a 30 minute-drive from Guimarães and Vila Real, Pena Park Hotel features an indoor pool and a seasonal outdoor pool, a spa and a wellness centre. Beautiful place if you are traveling in north Portugal and the huge plus is the 3 minutes walk from the hotel to the adventure park. Hotel is lovely with an amazing outdoor pool, great service, option for a chef dinner that we enjoyed. we took the suite room and the only issue with that is the bed, which was too soft for us and not really comfortable. Area is so green and great for hiking.

Santa Apolónia is located halfway between historical Bragança and the IP4 motorway. It offers quiet accommodation with free Wi-Fi, a 24-hour reception and free on-site private parking. My husband and I would like to thank hotel Santa Apolonia so very much for all their help with arranging two taxis to take us and our bicycles to Rabano de Aliste, Spain, 50k away, to enable us to continue our trip. Hotel Casino Chaves features an in-house casino with table games and 300 slot machines, a restaurant with views of the mountains and 3 bars. The hotel is a 5-minute drive from Chaves’s town centre. Pool, breakfast, room, bed amazing. The casino is a good way to spend some time and have some fun

Cách Natur Waterpark 14 km, Casa dos Correios có sân hiên, sân trong và Wi-Fi miễn phí. The Casa offered us 2 huge rooms with comfy beds, very nice showers and bathrooms including all the necessities. The room features a mini-fridge, microwave, and kettle plus a kitchen sink so one could prepare some food, but the common kitchen is also available to use with complimentary coffee and tea all day. The place is very quiet for sleeping with only four rooms total, plus it's on a side street with a large verandah between the hotel and the street. It's located just behind the actual Correios building a few steps from the main pedestrian center, with access to many places to eat and shop. One added pleasure was that the hotel has been decorated like a museum, with artifacts from old post offices and artistic touches in the same theme. The cordial owner was pleased to show us all the nice pieces, like the old phones and signage. A excellent choice in a lovely city. We will return for a longer stay!
