The apartment we stayed in was just like it was in the photos. The decor reflects the feel of the island. Warm and welcoming. All you really need to bring is your clothes as all your requirements come with apartment that has pretty much all you need for your stay. Refrigerator,stove,pots,pans utensils ,etc. Even soap and conditioner which I had forgot. I wish I could take the shower pressure home with me. The unit is located no more than 100 yards from beach depending on tide. This part of the north beach area seems quite a bit less active then other seemingly more popular areas. Even in mid March the pelicans dive and dolphins soar. The tennis courts with pickleball also look to be in great shape and newly resurfaced. This was our first time using a private residence (thru booking.com) and came away very impressed. I had spoken with the owners and they just seemed like really nice people and made me feel good about borrowing their home. I would highly recommend staying in this unit owned by these people. Just a 5 minutes' walk from Tybee Beach, this Tybee Island motel features an outdoor saltwater pool. Rooms offer a simple design and are equipped with free WiFi and a cable TV. Room, beach and location were everything we hoped for. We were able to check in early and we could walk to the beach, shops and restaraunts in literally just a few minutes.
