Located at the Paul Kruger Gate to the Kruger National Park, Kruger Gate Hotel is situated on the banks of the Sabie River. Our experience at Kruger Gate Hotel was absolutely amazing! The property itself is stunning, beautifully designed and impeccably clean throughout. The room was spacious and well-equipped, offering far more than we needed, especially since we spent most of our time out on safari. We used the gym, which was a great amenity, though we did miss having a spinning bike, would’ve loved that! My husband and I stayed for 5 days and 4 nights (we originally booked 3 nights and decided to extended 1 more) and honestly, we wish we had booked an extra day just to fully enjoy everything the hotel has to offer. The food was excellent every night, with a wide variety of proteins and vegetables, buffet-style, so we got to try something new each evening. The staff were truly exceptional. Everyone we interacted with was incredibly warm and helpful. A special mention to our waiter: Excellent, yes, that’s his name! :) who remembered our names and our usual drinks, making every dinner feel personalized and welcoming. The reception team was also fantastic, both in person and via the WhatsApp concierge line. The game drives, organized with an external provider, were also a highlight. Everything was well-coordinated, from timing to the packed breakfasts that were ready for us each morning. All in all, we highly recommend Kruger Gate Hotel

And our night tracker, Captivity, was also very skilled. He even spotted a chameleon in a bush in the dark !

The staff, especially Kwazi, attended to our every need. The food was fabulous and the property is simply phenomenal. To have wildlife including zebras walking in your backyard at night......wow! Bird and animal sightings during the day were great! Wonderful stargazing opportunities. Wish we had more time.

Our 3 miniature schnauzers love to swim in the pond and explore the nature which we do not have to worries too much (secure farm). Lovely big stoop, braai facility, fully equipped self catering and excellent fireplace. The stars at night time just so magnificent.

A beautiful lodge in stunning surroundings. Val and Neil go out of their way to make your stay as easy and enjoyable as they can. Very impressed with the service, stay and the location of the Mhlati cottages only a stone throw away from the Malelane gate. Ideally located and equipped for anyone that would like to travel into Kruger as a day visitor or as a overnight stop before entering. The breakfast offered was also excellent.
