Extremely warm hospitality from the charming owner, who also helped greatly with local advice. The whole place was perfectly presented in every way, including the good- sized pool. Excellent and varied breakfast with coffee already on the table. Extremely convenient location and plentiful onsite parking.

Our stay at this hotel was wonderful from the very beginning. We were warmly welcomed, everything was explained clearly, and check-in was quick and friendly — it felt like visiting family. The room was spacious with a balcony and stunning mountain views. The bed was firm, but we slept very well. You can park your car in front of the hotel. The hotel has a cozy spa area with a pool, several saunas, billiards, table tennis, and plenty of other activities. Breakfast was excellent, and the 5-course dinner was simply outstanding. Service was impeccable throughout our stay. There are good grocery stores within a 10-15 minute walk, and the town itself is nice for a stroll. We only spent 2 nights here, but we already want to return.

Close to the city and yet we have our privacy. The apartment is big enough and has everything we need. The owners have many domestic animals, cows, ponies. The whole place is pet friendly and we could really go everywhere with our dog. For those who don't ski, there are enough trails for walkers that are separated from the cross-country ski trails. The trails pass a few meters from the apartment. If I manage to book in time next year, I hope to come back to Palfengut apartment.

    We really appreciate the host was waiting for us by the house. He guided us of the apartment and discussed with us the tourist destinations.     This is very comfortable appartment with a lot of space for our family with the adult children. We enjoyed at the sunny terrace in the morning. Kitchen is very well equiped, everything was very clean and tidy. All you need is very near the accomodation, even a Pizzeria Pinokio is couple of steps away. I would choose this accomodation for the next stay in Altenmarkt, that's for sure.

    We were there in summer, perfect location to do day trips by car to nearby cities like Salzburg, Hallstatt or Zell am See. And in the area there are plenty of opportunities to hike (e.g. Obertauern, Flachau, ...) or to visit mountain tops, glaciers with spectacular views (Kitzsteinhorn, Dachstein). The accommodation is well-equipped with everything needed for a family holiday, the hosts were kind enough to let us enjoy their swimming pond on a few hot days.

    The family who owned the accommodation were very friendly and make you feel at home.There was a ski bus stop two minutes walk from the property which takes you to Altenmarkt/Radstadt ski areas and if you stay on the bus you can go to Zauchensee/Flachauwimkl.There are two supermarkets nearby and also a good Italian style restaurant.

    the apartments are completely new, nicely designed and very practical for a ski holiday. we stayed in a 5 person apartment with our family with three children. it was very spacious, with two bathrooms and a large living area. it even included a balcony, great for a morning coffee in the sun with a stunning view. the ski bus to Zauchensee stops directly in front of the apartment building. the staff is super friendly and very helpful.
