    - The pleasure of staying in a castle in its original state ("dans son jus"). - Ernst Bauer's friendliness (including staff): his invaluable advice on sightseeing in the region (there's a lot to do!), tour of the castle and explanation of its history and anecdotes, etc. (www.intempo.at). - Perfect peaceful and quiet location in the countryside (not a sound around during the night). - Excellent breakfast in an historic room. - A magnificent terrace for aperitifs in the setting sun.

    Great location in a lovely place! Really nice views from the bedroom. Rooms were clean and the host was very nice and friendly :) we stayed for the Ironman and it is the first place we’ve stayed where the host provided breakfast from 4am for everyone competing in the race!

    The location was excellent, with close proximity (by car) to the Wörthersee and private access to a smaller pond/lake directly in front of the hotel. The rooms are massive, comfortable and super clean. Furthermore, all of the staff were very friendly during our stay. The breakfast buffet was not extensive but offered everything we needed and exceeded my expectations, especially considering the cost.

    Accomodation was very nice, comfortable, clean, with a good private parking. Owner was very friendly and helpful. There are lot of possibilities for bike tours in this area. Breakfast was very tasty. We enjoyed a very nice holiday there.

    I loved the whole experience of staying in an old castle that remains mostly true to its history without a lot of modernising. The breakfast was excellent, thoughtfull, delicious and attentively served.

    The place surprises you. We only stayed for one night and enjoyed it a lot. The host takes care of you and the place feels like a mystery. Rooms are spacious and views are beautifull. Good breakfast as well.
