Everything is perfect here! the house is so well decorated with historical feeling. I feel like going back to THE ERA OF VICTORIA. what's more, the breakfast is absuolutely the best here! Btw, something not good happened to us in the area across the river and we seeked help from Paul, he was so kind to help us! thanks a lot for his kindness!

    A beautiful 2 bedroom apartment overlooking the river. It was just lovely. The bed was super comfy. It was the best accommodation we stayed in on our 2 week road trip of Tasmania.

    Clean and comfortable. Large room. Motel accommodation. Pub next door for a good meal. Otherwise not close to other restaurants. Good for overnight stay. Staff were exceptional. One lovely lady spent quite a while the next morning writing out an itinerary for us for the next couple of days.

    Stunning accommodation. Beautiful position on coast. Accommodation extremely comfortable and gorgeous. Loved every minute of our stay. Bonus got to see penguins coming in from the sea at night.

    The personal touch and great to hear some history of the building and surrounding area. Our hosts were fantastic, and we will definitely recommend the Grand on Macfie to our friends. The hosts went out of their way to provide breakfast prior to boarding the Ferry even with 4 groups to cater for. The accommodation was meticulously furnished in the period style and well priced. A memorable stay.

    On arrival at the site (fresh off the ferry) we were pleasantly surprised that arrangements had been made for us to access our booked cabin despite being outside open hours. This was greatly appreciated. Even more of a surprise was the size and cleanliness of the cabin. We only booked to stay for one night but found ourselves wishing we could stay there longer. It was very comfortable and offered everything needed for a nice break/holiday.

    Great location in walking distance to everything. This was the most affordable accommodation we could find for a one night stay and it exceeded expectations. Unfortunately members of the family weren't well during out stay and staff were very accommodating with requests as were the restaurant with take away meals.
