What a delightful stay we had at Ulverstone River Retreat. It is a little slice of Tasmanian Heaven. I could have sat all day looking at the beautiful River Leven rising and falling with the tide. We stayed in the Loft Apartment and it was perfect for our needs.... so cosy and comfortable. The other rooms looked gorgeous too from what I saw. Kids loved the wildlife on the lawn in front. Don't miss the Leven Canyon walk and for those wanting something a bit off the beaten track try the Castra Circuit. Kim and Anthony were such friendly and approachable hosts.

Location, Location, Location. This property is in a beautiful position right beside a river with wonderful views. The apartment was very clean and well stocked with everything. There is even a FREE washer and dryer for the guests to use. The owners couldn’t have been more helpful and are very nice people. What else can I say except if you go to Ulverstone stay at the River Edge Holiday Apartments you can’t go wrong.

We had a truly wonderful stay! The home is beautifully presented — spotless, thoughtfully decorated, and full of charm. It really felt like a home away from home from the moment we walked in. The views from the property are absolutely stunning — waking up to the scenic landscape each morning was so relaxing. It’s the perfect spot to unwind and recharge. The house had everything we needed and more. The amenities were plentiful and well-considered, from a fully equipped kitchen to cozy blankets and quality toiletries. It was especially great for families — there were lots of toys and books to keep the kids entertained, plus a high chair, which made mealtimes so much easier. Location-wise, it’s in a great spot — peaceful and quiet, but still very close to local shops and nearby towns, so we never felt far from anything we needed. Overall, it’s a truly special place. We’d absolutely love to come back and would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and family-friendly getaway

Wayne is an absolute pleasure to have as a host. Such a lovely home and personality. Really looking after the guests and making an awesome breakfast for me. Nice chats together. The dogs are super cool too and just everything was perfect. Wouldn't have traded it for anything else.

    I stayed at the accommodation the night before my wedding and got ready the day of with my bridesmaids. The host found out it was my wedding and came in (asking family for permission) and cleaned the property after all the bridesmaids got ready just because it was our wedding, she made our beds and it was like coming into a fresh room that night. The service was outstanding and after a massive day this was such a lovely surprise to walk into. Highly recommend!

    We really love this accommodation in Ulverstone and have stayed here on many occasions - it is always immaculately clean, has modern furnishings, comfy beds, well equipped kitchen and wonderful waterfront views. Just a couple of minutes to shops, cafes and restaurants.

    The accommodation was comfy, clean and in good overall condition. The restaurant menu was great and the meals we ordered were a generous size, full of flavour and a reasonable price. Desserts were lovely. All staff were friendly and polite. There was even a face painter at the restaurant, which the kids loved. We’ve stayed here before for the Devonport Soccer Cup and will stay again.

    The location of the apartment was excellent The quality of the accommodation was above expectations. We didn't use the car the whole time we were there. We could walk or cycle to supermarkets, cafes and restaurants. Every detail to make the stay comfortable had been thought of and included. The patio and Riverview were my favourite part.

    Exceptional. Location was perfect. View so relaxing. The area was quiet. The accommodation 5 star. We were pleasantly surprised how spacious, modern and clean everything was. Well stocked with everything and more you would need. I wish we had stayed longer. Would highly recommend.
