When we entered the property and climbed the sauna-like stairs we were immediately dazzled by the huge christmas tree. It was beyond beautiful and symbolizes the excellent decorating skills of the owners. There was attention to detail in every corner and it was all very clean. Our room offered a big bath and endless views. We enjoyed the beautiful surroundings, including the starting point of the Dommel-river. There are a lot of walks you can undertake right from the front door. Each day the owner brought us a small dessert or pastry, which was of superb quality every time. It was a christmas we will never forget. We are grateful we could stay here.

The staff at this hotel is truly amazing. I initially thought I had booked a suite with a bathtub, but it turned out that suites come either with a shower or a bathtub. During check-in, I asked if there was a possibility to switch, but unfortunately, all suites were fully booked at that moment. However, just an hour after we checked in, the receptionist kindly approached us and offered to move us to another suite with a bathtub, as a last-minute cancellation had made it available. This level of attentiveness and service truly made our stay exceptional!

Our stay was more than perfect. Everywhere you look you can see the attention to detail, whether at breakfast, in the spa area or in the room. Every detail has been thought of here, nothing is missing. At B&B De Paenhoeve you feel right at home and in great hands. An ideal place to switch off. Great value for money.     Accommodations were very nice and pleasant. The staff, including Elke and I believe her name was Valentina, were very helpful. In the restaurant, Esther and the gentleman, I believe, named Denni, were exceptional along with the rest of the staff. The food was out of this world, and they have menus, (cards), in English as well. As a whole, the language barrier was really a non-issue for the large majority of all locations we visited while there. Try the local ice cream shop while there it will not disappoint.

    Spacious with everything that you would require, plus more. Washing machine, tumble dryer 2 fridges, freezer. There wasn't anything really that we needed that was not there. Great space for parking. Quiet. Good location to run and cycle. Despite the negative points as listed below, the overall stay was very good. Would certainly book again if returning to the area.
