    Unfortunately, there was a big snowstorm on March 25 and 26, which did not allow us to travel by car from Winnipeg to Thunder Bay. The manager at the hotel decided NOT to refund us any money for this natural danger that occurred. We will definitely seek other accommodations the next time we travel to Thunder Bay.

    The front desk gal was awesome, made us feel right at home! Super friendly and welcoming to our furry friend as well. The room was spotless and the sheets smelt nice and clean! The bed was super comfy and soft. Love the offering of shampoo, conditioning and body wash in the washroom. The lobby area and shared accommodations were great as well! Everything was so clean and organized. We had a private queen room with private washroom and it was honestly better than some hotels we have stayed at. So cozy and had everything we needed.

    I didn't like the area. Constantly being begged on. Parking a real issue. Construction had all the streets closed. Apartment was bare bones. Bathroom bare bones. TP holder gone. One very small window, no A/C. I do feel I got what I paid for. It was cheap, but not enjoyable. Another older couple had a very hard time with the stairs and the accommodations.

    Breakfast comparable to Holiday Inn Express. Several days eggs were burnt. SAME offering basically every day (I stayed there a week). Several mornings there was no fruit available. Coffee was awful. For all the advertising about what a great hotel this is, the food was a great disappointment. Hotel was quiet, and staff were extremely courteous.
