The location is peaceful and beautiful, right next to the H. R. Giger museum and in the heart of the old village of Gruyeres. The accommodation is very spacious for two people to live very comfortably and the kitchenette was well equipped with everything we needed to cook breakfast and dinner.

The apartment was amazing, brand new, had everything we needed, the view was breathtaking, staff were so helpful, walking around the village was so beautiful, little shops, food and drink, visited the castle and the alien museam and walked around, the snow was just the icing in the cake, cannot express in words how amazing this place is

We stayed two nights end of November and booked a spacious quadruple room on the 3rd floor, which had a mountain view and side view on the castle. Everything was perfect: 1) Very close to the center of the village (there are only a few hotels in such proximity to Gruyeres and Hotel de Gruyeres is the most affordable); 2) hotel is located on the hill, so you do not have to go up from public parking P1, P2 or P3; 3) private parking with 9 places and a couple of places for motorbikes (free of charge); 4) if private parking is full, the car can be parked on P1, P2 or P3 for 10 CHF per day or free of charge between 18:00 and 8:00; 5) room is equipped with a fridge, kettle, safe; 6) fabulous fresh breakfast with a lot of choices; 7) very friendly ladies on reception; 8) wellness center with sauna and hammam (can be booked and ready for use in one hour of heating) and small gym (well equipped); 9) restaurant with a terrace outside with an amazing view; 10) 5 min to the cheese factory and 15 min to chocolate factory by car.

    We stayed in room 7 which is at the very top making it very silent and nice with the roof windows. The receptionist was very nice and explained everything in detail, we were even allowed to bring the car to the hotel door on checkout day to make it easier to load our luggage. The bathroom was big and very modern.

    Picture postcard setting and good location for the village and easy access, if fit and able, to walk to & from The Cheese Factory & train station. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was available at the property if you wanted it. The restaurant attached to the hotel offered us discount during our stay (which was also available in their gift shop in the village). We had dinner in the restaurant which was excellent and had stunning views. We spent the afternoon in the village & chateau. Very picturesque, tranquil & peaceful.

    Sweet unassuming hotel in the middle of the town. Nice big room with a view, decent breakfast. Gruyères is well worth a one night stay (don’t miss the Giger museum!).

    I do not remember when was the last time I gave 10 in all categories (and I travel a lot), but this place and its team really deserve it. Warm & cosy (even fire on the fire place), with excellent food and friendly staff... this place exceeded our expectations and became one of the highlights of the trip.     The studio was in a beautiful location with amazing views of the countryside and mountains from the balcony. The studio was cosy with lovely features. The reception staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay and liked everything about the accommodation and the area.

    The view was excellent and the accommodations were good for our family of 4 (with 2 adult children). The kitchen was in general well furnished. The beds were fine and there was adequate extra pillows and blankets. The shower was very good, very quick hot water with good pressure. The owner provided excellent directions and instructions for finding the chalet and finding the right parking place. The key lock box was good so we could arrive at any time.

    Wonderful location right in the center of town. Beautiful accommodations with charming common spaces including the restaurant The room was large with a view! Enjoyed the breakfast Buffett in the morning and loved exploring out back among the hillside gardens. Had one of the best salads on the patio enjoying views of Gruyeres town center. Highly recommend staying!
