We got a night ferry, so we only arrived at 2345, but we were warmly by Klaus. The cabana is very comfortable and warm and we had an excellent nights sleep. The owner was so friendly and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and were flexible with me in my circumstances. They gave hot water for free tea and coffee. They were able to store my bike here too. The building is newly renovated so it was a very comfortable stay and comfortable beds. Nice seating area upstairs also. We saw seals, swans, penguins and dolphins close to the shore minutes after arriving. We were simply stopping over for one (very wet) night in Chaitén before catching a ferry, but Hector - our host - was so welcoming, lit a fire and made the cabin super cozy. We enjoyed fantastic meals in the evenings and rich breakfasts with homemade bread in the mornings. The location is great for visiting Pumalín Park.
