I visited Rapa Nui for two nights in December 2024 and Kitai Cabanas was really the best place to stay and made my short trip wonderful. The hosts are lovely persons and make the guests to feel welcome. Even before arrival communication was great and all questions have been answered quickly. Pick up at the airport was included and drop off at departure as well. The cottage is spacious, clean and a fully eqipped kitchen (which I did not use though, as Kitai Cabanas is next to many good restaurants). Water dispender is in the room, which was convinient. Room, bath and kitchen have been clean and I had a nice terrace with garden view. There are many lovely cats arround. Bed was comfortable. Wifi worked well. I booked also an island tour with the hosts and Kevin is an excellent guide. Very knowlegable about the history and culture of Rapa Nui.

New hotel with large rooms, clean, well equiped. Great breakfast and super kind, friendly and efficient team. Next to the road to all view points and 5 minute drive to the city center. Swimming pool and nice garden large terrace for each room. It is also not a very big impersonel hotel with numerous rooms, so really at the size of the island.

We were met at the airport by the staff who kindly gave us a lei on arrival and brought us to our accommodation. There is a lovely see view from the balcony and walking distance into the main town. The accommodation has great facilities and Paulina had been so helpful from day one of booking. Thanks for our stay.

We loved every minute spent at this place. Everybody was truly kind and willing to help and we enjoyed being around this great family. The room was clean and big, with enough space to store your belongings. We rent a car at a very good price and they even do have a small souvenirs shop. And if you really want to treat yourself, take the opportunity to ask for an amazing ceviche.

Super comfortable and clean cabin in Hanga Roa. The place is so special, you just have to see it to believe it. Steps from the moai and the coastline. Convenient to groceries and restaurants. I loved every second. The room is private, has everything you need! I will be back!!

Fantastic stay! We absolutely loved our time at Maria Hau Cabanas, the room was perfect and in such an amazing location, right by the sea and close to town. Maria’s son greeted us at the airport and made sure we were looked after our whole trip, thank you for such an amazing time. Cannot recommend enough!

From the moment we arrived at Kona Koa Lodge, we knew our stay was going to be something special. Nestled in the breathtaking landscape of Rapa Nui, this lodge truly exceeded our expectations in every way. Jerome, our host, was the epitome of warmth and hospitality. He was attentive and always available to help with anything we needed, from local tips to arranging transportation. His guidance made our stay both easy and enjoyable. The room itself was a highlight. Spacious and immaculately clean, it offered a tranquil retreat after days spent exploring the island. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep, and the overall quietness of the location meant that every morning we woke up refreshed and ready to tackle the day's adventures. The lodge’s amenities and its serene setting contributed to a feeling of exclusive privacy and comfort. For anyone visiting Rapa Nui, I cannot recommend Kona Koa Lodge enough.     This hotel is charming! The attention to detail is just right and the staff has such a great vibe. As a solo traveler I felt very whole and safe staying here. The rooms are spacious with excellent air conditioning. The food is generous and overall the hotel has a homey vibe which is what I loved the most. Cat also was great <3 the girls who picked me up at the airport with a flower necklace were a treat and it kick started my holiday on a great note. Congratulations and thank you !!!

    Our stay at Pacific Bungalows was wonderful. The bungalows are located in a picturesque large garden/field and a really pleasant 10 minute walk into the main town, but far enough away to feel like a total retreat. The roof is thatched, and the sound of the thatch in the breeze and bird song was so relaxing! The host's house is nearby and Lea was on hand for any questions or help, but otherwise left us to enjoy the accomodation and enjoy Rapa Nui. Really lovely stay and highly recommend!

    If location is important, I don't think there is a better choice on the island. Hostal Vieroto was located in town close to everything from grocery stores, restaurants and the sunset moai! I loved my stay here and highly recommend choosing the second-floor oceanfront room. When I wasn't on tour, I could enjoy my deck, the sunrise/sunset, and the ocean all day long. So thankful I picked this accommodation, the oceanfront room, and the host, Claudio, was especially helpful with airport transfers and setting up tours.

    Everything. The welcoming on the airport. Hotel position (if you wish to be a bit away from noisy center). the big, comfortable and clean room with the see view. Breakefast. area and swiming pool at the hotel. very friendly and willing manager - two Pablos. the stay at the Ohana was a perfect end of my one month holiday in South America.

    We spent six nights in this nice, practical house, and for us this was the perfect place to stay on the island. A little outside the village, made it an quiet accomodation. The house cosist of three rooms. Diningroom and kitchen. Here is all you need to do easy cooking. Bathroom is nice and practical. Sleepingroom with very comfortable bed. The hostess, Moana, was very friendly and helpful at all times during our stay. They both picked up when we arrived, and brought us the the airport when we left. We can highly recommened Cabanas Kainga.

    We booked the hostel based on the fact that it had a pool that we could relax in the afternoon. For the 4 days we stayed it had been rented out for screaming children’s parties. I complained to the owner and said if we’d known we’d have chosen somewhere else. The accommodation was as described. Basic but clean and comfortable
