The couple that run the hotel are wonderful and all the staff that work there were very friendly and kind. Breakfast was delicious and our room was beautiful and clean. The experience of a hotel is obviously different than staying at this traditional house (e.g. colder, less comfy bed etc.) but this only added to the authentic charm. The position is fantastic, as I had my balcony on the high street. Clean environment. Loved the bed warmer. Communication with the host was superb in helping out with getting around the city.
