This hostel really surprised me, it was absolutely amazing! My room was comfortable and clean, with some details that I really appreciated - like laundry detergent for hand washing. However, the best thing was the community rooms. I really liked the greenery, the terrace, bar and more - it was a perfect place to relax. Also, the location is great, one can walk to the Daguan park within 30min (or take a bus).

The staff were very nice and it was quite a professional operation, quite clean too. I initially booked because of its convenience near the south station, but then came back so I could explore the south side of the city which was very nice as well. There’s a bit of a very small street food scene nearby which is nice.

Wonderful stay – amazing staff! We had a great experience at Atour Light Dongfeng Hotel in Kunming. Special thanks to the two staff at check-in – they were incredibly welcoming, kind, and helpful. The check-out team was also friendly and efficient. Rooo was perfect. The whole staff really made us feel at home. Highly recommended!

    Truly a boutique hotel with unique building design. Staff are attentive and helpful to our needs. Convenient location with many places within walking distance. Little details and offerings in the room are very surprisingly good - not usually found in Chinese hotels. Breakfast spread is good but can improved with variety especially when staying for many days. Cachet is my kind of hotel. Definitely will recommend 😊

    Everything was great. Big private room and it looks so new. We were sad we stayed only one night. There is also some laundry machine, a café, great wifi, pool table and tennis table.

    The location of the property is excellent, offering convenient access to major attractions and public transportation. It makes it easy to explore the city and the scenic spots nearby. The landlord was incredibly easy to communicate with and always helpful and friendly. She patiently provided valuable suggestions and tips regarding transportation, local restaurants, and weather conditions, which greatly enhanced our stay.

    Location was ideal because near to airport. There was a lot of construction or rather demolition because the area will be used for extension of airport. Aunty cooked dinner for us even though we came in late. Very nice staff, airport transfers provided by guesthouse. Beautiful heritage building and garden. Well presented. will stay again. Good for airport locations accommodations.
