We booked the danae traditional house. The room was nice and clean. Perfect for 2 people. The food at the taverna was good, and everyone on the stuff was very helpful and friendly. Upon arrival, we were greeted with lemonades and promptly assisted with our baggage, which was a nice touch. The hotel consists of several houses scattered throughout the village of Tochni, each restored to maintain their traditional appearance. The tavern offers a nice selection of breakfast options. One of our favourite places in Cyprus after two years living here. If you want sleek white and everything new then this isn’t for you. If you want delicious home-cooked food, a super peaceful location and accommodation with character (think antique lace samplers, exposed beams, earthen jugs) then this is the place for you! Tochni is a nice authentic village, was very quiet to sleep (we stayed in the end of February). Clean and tidy on arrival. Owner was the perfect host and very accommodating. Fabulous restaurant just around the corner and recommended to anyone wanting traditional Cypriot cuisine.
