I would like to point out extremely helpfull stuff of the hotel. From solving not heating enough heater on the room, to helping us to reverse our car from unsecure embankment of the river in front of the hotel to just instant smile on the face for 24/7. Thanks for the plesant stay!

The Dinner was absolute brilliant! Great taste for a good price! The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful! Only one bed was a little short, but ok for me (177cm tall). We would definitly come again!

The location is superb, you can explore Czech south Bohemia or you can easily reach Germany or Austria. Parking space is a few stones away. The apartment is very clean and cozy, the apartment has to floors, on the ground floor you can find kitchen and living area ( table, chairs, sofa, TV... ) and a bathroom, and on the first floor there are two rooms with five cozy beds, so we felt like we were at home. The host is super nice, and gives you all the important information that you might need to reach the destination in advance so there is no need to worry that something could go wrong. I really would recommend visiting Chata Kvilda if you are visiting South Bohemia.

    Beautiful iconic hotel in the heart of Šumava National Park, directly in Modrava, virtually next to all major natural attractions of the Park. Delicious breakfast buffet (fresh bakery even on national holiday and in the heart of the National Park!), reasonably priced private sauna, free parking, helpful and nice staff,... 10/10!

    We always stay here when we come to Modrava each year. Clean, comfortable and walking distance to everything. Evening meal in Hotel Modrava next door is the best food value/portion/quality option in Modrava. Proper food that sticks to your ribs! Apartment has everything you need for a few nights stay. It has a fridge and kitchen so bring your own breakfast things / drinks with you. Upstairs and downstairs bathroom with shower/sink/toilet. Nice touch with the bottle of sparkling wine on arrival
