Everything! The host family was very warm, welcoming and friendly. Our kids really enjoyed the garden, they also played a lot with the host family kids. The apartment is very clean/new/modern. The host family was also very helpful giving us tips to visit different places around the property. The property is located in a quiet place but very close (30 min-drive) to different touristic locations (Luxemburg, Trier, Saarburg,..).

Great location, close enough to the motorway and Merzig yet remote and quiet. Our excellent host Ana greeted us at the property. The property was new on booking.com with no reviews when we booked however we were pleasantly surprised. The house was well appointed and preserved, kitchen fully equipped with great views over the village, bathrooms in great condition, bedrooms / living areas were comfortable, cozy and clean and parking was available right in front of the house. Everything was clean and comfortable. In fact, the property resembled a cozy home rather than a generic rental - we travel quite a bit and this one really impressed. We learned that Ana also runs a naturopathy practice which is located nearby, we would consider trying her therapies on another occasion, time permitting. We had enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to book this property again in the future.

    Good for a one night stay. Walk in shower was superb. Room very spacious. Restaurant waiter very helpful. Breakfast in bakery next door, also owned by the hotel owners, was very good and fresh. Interesting small town steeped in the Villeroy Boch Pottery empire if you have time to look around.

    We love staying at this hotel, which beaks our journey. The breakfast is excellent and of course they use Villeroy and Boch china, which is due to the fact the hotel was built originally by the owners of Villeroy and Boch

    It’s not every day you get to stay in a beautful castle! The location is perfect if you want to combine your visit with a hike, e.g. the beautiful Saarschleife Tafel. The room was comfortable and clean, the bathroom very modern. The dinner on the terrace was fabulous and service excellent. The breakfast was good.

    The property is very close to the nature park. It is freshly built or renovated therefore everything was nicely finished, maintained. The apartment is very spacious, very comfortable stay. The area is very quiet, we'd stay here another time as well.
