Nice quiet location, you can park in front of the house, one bedroom with a sofa bed. The bed will have sound when you turn. Only suitable for 2 persons for one night. We stay for 4 days but everything provided is for one night. Luckily we did bring everything except to ask for more toilet paper.

Buffet breakfast is right next door at Extrablatt [https://cafe-extrablatt.de] and it is a main reason that we keep on comming here from Frankfurt. The lake view rooms are set high so you can see out but ~they~ cant see in. We are right next to the station so you E-bike up the lake and get the train back.     We stayed at the Hotel Diehlberg for two nights, in a room that was absolutely massive! We had so much space, which was incredible. The hotel is well located (10 minutes walk from Sondern train station, from where you can easily access larger towns). The beds were really comfortable and the swimming pool was lovely too.

    The hotel is located on a hill overlooking Biggesee, the views can't be better. It's isolated so tranquility is guaranteed. Breakfast was varied and abundant, some outdoor seating is also available to enjoy the morning sun. The pool area is great to spend the time reading while sunbathing. They organize events that include barbecue, sadly we didn't know in advance and it was fully booked during our stay.

    Overall, our stay was pleasant. Although we were travelling for business purpose, it is also a nice location for leisure. The Hotel is near Bigge lake, surrounded by greenery, a good location for water sports, hiking, running, etc. Rooms were clean, personnel ok, breakfast standard.

    They upgraded our room with one in the ground floor , more spacious and with a balcony overlooking the nature! Staff was pleasantly helpful and polite. Breakfast was charged extra but there was a plethora of tasteful options to pick. We didn't tried the restaurant but it wasn't busy the might we stayed. Pick Albus if you want to feel the atmosphere of traditional stay. WiFi was a bit weak at our room. A definitely worth staying hotel with good value for price result.
