The building is situated in front of a park with a fountain, 15 minutes on the ferry from the train station, 5-minute walk from the town centre, and 3-minute walk from the bus that will take you two the National park that is only two stops away. The situation of the building is simply perfect! The apartment itself is specious, light, clean, nicely furnished. It has a bedroom and a big living room, each has a double bed in it. The owner of the apartment are very hospitable and caring, I could feel it, despite not meeting them, as the check-in process is authorised. I don't think I could've found a better place to stay in Bad Schandau or surrounding towns.

Claudia and Petra responded very quickly to our initial enquiries when booking and went out of their way to make our stay (brief as it was) comfortable and enjoyable. We arrived by bicycle and it was easy to have a secure place for them, and we were able to wash our riding clothes without any fuss. Breakfast was great!

    Super placement and additional gratitude for the Free tickets for Fairy to the Castle for all the time we stayed in this Hostel and in the WC there were even free additional staff as shower gels and feminine hygiene products. It is 200% satisfaction from the time we lived there. Super friendly guys and super clean space.

    Lovely and accommodating host. The accommodation is near the station which is great for transporting bags (the train noise is not really a problem). The room and villa were both cozy and looked gorgeous in some early winter snow! For visitors travelling from November onwards - note that only a couple of restaurants are open for lunch / dinner on your side of the river, otherwise you will need to take the short, charming ferry over the River Elbe to access shops.
