The location is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by hills and just 15 mins drive from Zumaia. Lots of hiking trails nearby. The grounds are well-kept and Anais is a superb host. She is discreet, yet very friendly. Our children loved the animals, spending a lot of their time with the donkey, dogs, chickens and rabbits.

Fantastic location right by the most beautiful beach! Went for walk up the hill for amazing views and a swim in the ocean. Room was clean, comfortable bed, lovely balcony with sea view, bathroom shared but only with one other guest. Hosts were very friendly and welcoming!

    We had a wonderful stay. The host Anais and the lady who looked after the apartments couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. The apartment was large and luxurious, the views and tranquility unrivaled! Close enough for daytrips to Bilbao, Guernica, Lekeitio, Vitoria Gasteiz or San Sebastian, without having to stay in the city. Great hiking areas and beaches nearby. Not sure when we'll be back in Northern Spain, but when the time comes we'll be back staying here.

    Just everything about the stay was wonderful on the Camino de St Jaques. I don’t know where to start… The staff was gorgeous, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom modern, elegant and clean. It was quiet so we slept like babies. The breakfast room very cosy and luminous and the breakfast plentiful and with a good choice.

    The loveliest room in a home in a beautiful village on the coast! My room shared a floor with several other rooms and a bathroom. It felt like a home more than anything! It was very clean and comfortable, and I had my own privacy. The two hosts were delightful to talk to, as were the other guests. I even got to meet their two new kittens haha! I couldn't recommend more, especially for solo travellers looking for a relatively cheap stay outside of hostels.
