Beautiful hotel, the room was clean and nicely decorated. I really enjoyed the ambiance and the helpfulness/kindness of the staff. Great location, easy walking distance from the train station and many restaurants in the city centre region. The staff were really helpful, gave clear instructions about how to use the hotel sauna, how to access the various parts of the hotel, and tips on making my stay much easier in Tampere. A great gem!

The studio was great, has everything you need for a short stay. Bed was very comfy, kitchen has good facilities to make some quick meals, bathroom is a very good size and you have big built in wardrobe as well. The location is really good and you can easily walk to most of the attractions in centre Tampere, I only used the bus one of the days and that was just to save on time.

Great location, not far from the train station and the town center and Xmas market, and the Moomin museum is right across the street! Also, we were there on Sunday so the coffee shop downstairs was closed but normally you will also have this benefit! The flat we had was compact and lovely, very well designed and you have everything you need.

We traveled to the accommodation by bus from Helsinki. The place is located in a quiet residential area about 1 km from the bus stop. Since it was snowy in December, dragging our suitcases through the snow was difficult, so we took a taxi instead, which cost 14.3 euros. The host welcomed us like old friends. There are two smart dogs and three elegant cats. Once the dogs familiarize themselves with your scent, they won’t bark anymore. The private sauna, available for an additional 10 euros, is perfect for relieving travel fatigue. As shown in the attached photo, there is a light blue bench in the hallway leading to the sauna room, which is located right next to the guest room. You can borrow a bathrobe, so you can take a break on the bench and re-enter the sauna as needed. The heater is also installed in the restroom, so we never felt cold indoors. Although the toilet seat itself is cold, we brought stick-on seat covers from Japan, which cost about 400 yen, so it wasn’t an issue for us. The bed and pillows were comfortable, allowing us to sleep soundly. The furnishings, which evoke a sense of history and warmth, are tastefully arranged and enhance the cozy atmosphere. The bed with blue sheets shown in the attached photo is not for guests. We speculate it’s meant for the dogs, cats, or perhaps Finnish fairies. There is a microwave, a kettle, tableware, and a side table, so we had a light dinner with the food we brought. For breakfast, we recommend Konditoria Mari, a bakery with an eat-in space located 1.1 km away. It’s affordable and delicious (two large breads, much bigger than Japanese sizes, and two cups of coffee cost 9.8 euros).

Everything was great. Apartment is new, also all appliances are new and work perfectly. Main sightseeing places are within walking distance. Direct airport bus 103 is about 3 minutes walk away. Great food options available closely. Wolt delivery prices to the apartment are reasonable. Host is very responsive, also during the weekend.

    I like everything needed to stay in an accommodation, except that I hate the fact that I have to travel hours and thinking I will come and rest,but had to make my own bed. It is stressful, and very unprofessional for a guest to meet their bed un dressed and had to do it themselves. I came in very tired and I have to lay my bedsheets. Meh that was very painful. Please,lay the beds for guest, I believe housekeeper should make the beds not guest. Paid for the service, but it was not given to me.

    My family and I reserved two rooms. The hotel is organized and comfortable. Clean, comfortable accommodations with a good view, and a full, healthy breakfast. The hotel has a pleasant lobby and helpful staff. Good location, next to Moomin museum.

    I am rating the hotel Scandic City as the hotel Holiday Inn rebooked us to the other hotel because they were doing some renovations when we booked our stay. Scandic Hotel City is very clean and central, Holiday Inn made a good choicing rebooking us there.
