Beautiful furnished room in lovely old building. Set in the old part of the pretty village of Bellac overlooking the river. Continental Breakfast was fresh and plenty to eat. Received a warm welcome from Janet and Steve, hopefully will be back

I returned to Les Suites while my new house was having repairs. I have visited Bellac for years and this is the first guest house that meets my needs - safe, full of character, decent Wifi, cleaned with ecological products, comfy bed, and an approchable owner. Oh - and next door to my favourite bakery/diner!

Fabulous room in an old farmhouse - beautifully restored and tastefully decorated and furnished to create a magical blend of old and new. We were travelling through so could only stay the one night but we would have loved to stay longer - if we're ever back in this region we would definitely stay again. The hosts were lovely and the breakfast was great!

The Laurels We stayed here one night February 27, but after that night wish it could have been for a longer stay. Paul and Peggy are the best hosts you could hope for. As I booked this stay in May 2022 for the February 2023 stay and in between my booking and the stay the open times of the house have changed they were nice enough to honor the dates of our stay. From the moment of arrival they could not do enough for us. Starting with the complimentary drink and you must book the dinner. It is an excellent meal handcrafted by Peggy from fresh. The room was warm, spacious and comfy. The bathroom was a wee bit tight but it is more than adequate. The house is a little off the beaten path but makes for a very quiet and relaxing stay. I highly recommend staying here if you are anywhere near Limoges. You shant be disappointed.

The stay in this room was such a great experience. From the easy parking to the great breakfast (at a time you prefer) . The clean room, friendly people. It felt like a 5 start experience in rural France. Near the room you have your own patio with some shade for the hot days. The room is suprisingly cool ( it was 38C outside, but 21 inside) , without the need of an airco, which i liked. Owners can give you tips for your stay and went the extra mile to make you feel welcome.

    We really enjoyed our stay. It was very relaxing. Janet and Steve were such warm, hospitable, friendly and humorous hosts. 😄 The bed was more comfortable than our own. Need to find out what make the mattress is! The décor was also lovely, right down our taste. We would definitely stay again.

    Excellent location in a lovely town. Very friendly and helpful hosts at the time of getting in to the accommodation when some help was needed. It was an amazing apartment with lots of space in a beautiful old building. Everything you could need was already thought of and there for you. Fabulous bakery right next door :)

    Our second stay here, Adrian and Shirani are fantastic hosts, we had a really comfortable night's sleep and the breakfast is excellent. Brilliant place for a stopover on our journey, no doubt we'll be back again.
