Good location and really well appointed. Owners were really friendly and provided a lovely breakfast in the morning. Sauna and spa well worth it. Very clean. Decorated with real character touches. Pleasure staying here. Comfortable bed as well.

The hostess was extremely attentive and served us a wonderful breakfast. We were able to arrive at a later time without any problems. The room is very warm and cozy. I felt like I was living in a typical French house for a day: the house is beautifully decorated, classic and tasteful. The location is close to the ferry boat, which makes it a strategic spot for those going to Dover. The shower had good water flow, heated up very well and the bathroom was large and very comfortable, with everything available. Cleanliness was good also. Main attraction is certainly the cats. If you like cats, you MUST stay here (really! i've met here some of the most beautiful cats i've ever seen). On the other hand, If you're the kind of person who gets annoyed by what's normal for an environment with cats (in other words, if you're a pain in the ass, fussy moron), it's best not to bother them.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at B&B Les Secrets des loges and I can’t express enough how warm and cozy my experience was. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a charming lobby adorned with soft lighting and inviting decor that immediately made us feel at home. The host was incredibly welcoming and attentive. Our stay in Calais was completely unexpected. We had a last-minute change in plans and ended up booking with Mathilde - and we’re so glad we did! Mathilde was warm and welcoming from the start - and she loves pets which was a plus. Even when we realized we had forgotten to include an extra guest in our booking, she handled it with kindness and understanding. 😊 The apartment itself was beautiful. The location was quiet yet convenient, perfect for a short stay. We truly appreciated Mathilde’s hospitality and generosity. TheBreak is a gem, and we would gladly stay again! Merci Mathilde 😁

    The breakfast is exceptional - though we had learned from the previous stay not to over-order, so we shared the fruit and the yogout which was still plenty for us. And similarly, we only ordered half the bread as croissant also available.. Nathalie and Laurent are lovely hosts , giving a real family feel to the accommodation. Obviously if you prefer a more remote relationship with your host, it might not suit, though they are careful, I think, to check that like us you want to chat...

    Clean and comfortable - perfect for an overnight stop on our way to our main holiday accommodation. The toys were appreciated by our 5 year old and it was easy to park nearby. The host was friendly and helpful and responded to our messages very quickly.

    Whilst this is accommodation for the elderly empty units are rented out for overnight stays. The apartment was exceptionally clean, large shower, dogs allowed, secure car park and was fantastic for a quick stop over before catching the shuttle back to the UK.

    Central location both for the town and port. Parking available. Very pet friendly. Didn't realise it was part of an assisted accommodation complex. Do not be put off . We will be staying again in the future. Excellent apartment. Bedding and towels good quality. Spacious, a little kitchenette available. Ideal if you are travelling with a pet.

    The hotel was perfectly located from the Calais ferry terminal. There was ample free parking at the hotel and the room although basic no frills, was clean and comfortable and good value for what we had paid. It is situated next to the seafront perfect for an evening stroll. The hotel suited us perfectly for one nights stay before heading off further into Europe for our holiday. We would use the hotel again as a stop over.

    had a nice sunny balcony and private room with a comfortable bed. We had to find somewhere to stay very short minute and the host was so lovely!! this accommodation saved us from sleeping on the beach for a night after our other accommodation fell through. So grateful!!

    So lovely to be in a hotel with original character. The owner apologised for the room being smaller and on the ground floor but it was the largest room we stayed in all holiday and everything worked too. Monogram towels and bed linen made a nice touch. A short stroll to cafes. Not the classiest part of s city but good food and a pleasant stroll to the sea front. Great garage for motorbike particularly.

    We stayed in Calais due to travel delays in he UK caused by the holiday traffic heading for Europe, the delays being caused by Brixit issues. So we booked the hotel late, arrived late and were met with a smiling face. Bad day got better.

    A fantastic relaxing break, sipping beer and eating food with friendly locals. The accommodation was fantastic and the owners were very fast at responding. I would 100% like to stay there again next time. When you call the number provided, it opens the outer door automatically. You then enter the building and your key is in a lock box. So Easy! The apartment is clean with dishwasher and cutlery/plates etc. Easy to go to the supermarket and stock up the fridge and cook from the apartment. So close to the town and many restaurants/cafes.
