Absolutely loved our short and wonderful stay here. Annemarie was incredibly warm, attentive and super helpful host. The room was cozy and clean. The living room and kitchen is also equipped with everything we needed. I find the highland cow kitchen towel very adorable too. The brochures by the window were also incredibly informative. Loved it!

The apartment was super clean and comfortable. Everything you could need was there, including Milk which was a nice touch for a cup of tea on arrival. The beds were really comfortable and the shower was excellent. The location was quiet and well located. Alan was an excellent host . We were 3 friends on a tour and we all gave the apartment 10/10 and would happily return and recommend

The location of the apartment is perfect for anyone coming to Balloch by car as it's very central. There is a spot in a dedicated underground parking as well as plenty of on street parking or within a two min walk there is a large public car park. If you are using public transport, you are positioned less than a 5 min walk from the train station or the bus station. The apartment is also situated at a lovely little bridge where you will find options of different well organised boat tours at a reasonable cost. The apartment is also less than a five minute walk to a park as well as a nice walk along the water. When it comes to the local area you have absolutely everything you need no matter the type of group you are with. If you decide to self cater you have great local shops and large coop supermarket with all that you need including fresh amazing local produce at great prices. You also have all sorts of takeaway shops on offer in the local area. If you prefer to eat out, you have so much choice on offer and many different types of restaurants, pubs, bars and cafes with inside and outside seating suitable for a visit any time of the year all within walking distance. The best part is that you won't want to leave the gorgeous, spacious apartment. Wow! You could not want for more. Christine has created a home away from home and more. The decor and amenities are just what you would hope for in a holiday let. You even have your own large balcony with a bbq. Absolutely everything provided (including milk in the fridge :-) is carefully considered to make your holiday perfect and everything is of high quality, well-maintained and spotless. Everything is well explained around the apartment and if needed Christine offers to be available if from the booking right through to the end of your stay. Christine has very thoughtfully put together a manual to support with information for the apartment and the local area.

    Everything! There was plenty of space and it was well equipped for a family holiday. We loved the fire pit and the BBQ facilities and the hot tub was lovely! The conservatory was an added bonus when it rained one afternoon. The kids loved playing in the garden, which had a little stream running through it. We were all delighted with everything about our stay. The host, Angela was lovely and happy to answer any of our questions. We will definitely be coming back to stay again.

    Fabulous accommodation with beautiful views - especially from the hot tub! Peaceful yet very close to the Loch and local ammenities. Immaculately clean, cosy and well equiped. Perfect for a family getaway or romantic break, no matter what the weather! Lovely chance to get close to nature and recharge! John and Doneil couldn't have been more welcoming or accommodating. Would definitely stay again, and reccommend to family and friends!

    Great location just off main road but very quiet. Extremely handy for nearby wedding venues and you can easily walk to Duck Bay Marina should you wish. Cottage was spotless and comfortable with all you need for your stay. Good communication and helpful staff on arrival. Recommended accomodation for Loch Lomond and those looking to stopover for events nearby.

    The hosts, Brian and Gillian, were amazing! They immediately made us feel welcome, and were incredibly informative about the local area and sights to see. The view from the lodge is also incredible. They made the stay incredibly special for myself and my partner. The accommodation itself was lovely, and the bed was very comfortable. The amenities on offer were fantastic as well. We will definitely be back and I’d recommend Stoneymollan to anyone! - Jack & Ray
