    We had a lovely pleasant stay for 3 nights. Rooms upstairs below the pub which was a advantage as when I wanted a quiet night upstairs, I knew my partner was fine in the bar below. Also our pug came along for his first holiday. Very clean and tidy and reasonably priced. We had a comfortable stay, I also liked that everything was to hand eg tea bags, milk and toilet rolls means you don’t have to bother staff. Would definitely return when in the area again.

    Beautiful accommodation, very clean and modern throughout. The apartment we stayed in had everything my partner and I needed for a long weekend away. The area surrounding the apartments is quite run down, but the upshot is your are very close to local shops and restaurants within walking distance. Private carpark, and easy to get in with key and code. It's a perfect base for going to Lake District attractions and Towns. We definitely would visit again in the future.

    The beds are huge and comfy, the shower had superb water pressure. The room was large. The pub was lovely and the food was reasonably priced and very good. The location was super quiet and the accommodation was close but not too close that pub noise was an issue. Also the town center was a five minute drive. Plenty of parking. Absolutely loved everything about our stay.

    The apartment was good 👍 the parking was terrible we got a ticket for parking in the wrong place at the start of our holiday 🙃 not very pleased £70 their was no one to tell us the office was closed where the information was there was nothing in the apartment either not a good start,there was no slip mat in the shower went arse over tit sliding about no handles very dangerous complained to the office someone came with a mat after 2 days, like a current on a rock bun it was that small, other than that not a bad stay cheap very quiet

    The location was perfect for exploring the island and the Lake District. Even though we didn't stay in the Woods, we took a tour round the glamping facilities and it made us this of glamping on our next vacation considering that we're not really the camping type lol. On a more serious note, we highly recommend West Point House to all visiting the Lake District. Thank you West Point House/ Wood team. Keep up the good work
