    Amazing accommodation! We were in the courtyard. Everything was well thought to the tiniest detail. Very generous package and comfy bed for our doggy too. The gardens were like fairytale.The interior design was very slick and modern with some vintage notes. It was also very safe and quiet. Highly recommended.

    Very spacious and very well equipped self catering accommodation. We were very pleasantly surprised as it was a cheap option for a one night stay en route to our final destination. Bigger and more modern than it looks on photos. Very comfortable! Good induction hob in kitchen area and very spacious bathroom. They no longer have horses in the yard so we could use it to sit out in the sun both in the morning and in the evening. Plenty of food left in fridge and cupboards for breakfast!

    I did like the old charm of the hotel ,which was quintisentially an English country hotel. The garden courtyard was delightful and it was so nice to have tea delivered to the garden. I also enjoyed reading the remarkable history of the hotel and all who have stayed there, including Charles De Gaul's wartime mission.

    The whole experience was a pleasure, love this area. The stay was absolutely perfect for us & for anyone who loves nature, peaceful setting & plenty to do. We had the sun too so makes it all the more, we could have stayed longer so enjoyable. Good walking for most be it long or short walk. You can walk along the river to Beauliea village which is lovely. Museums to visit if you wish & a boat ride down the river.

    Location is in the countryside, parking is off-road. The twin room was ample size with private bathroom facilities and the beds were comfortable. We were made to feel welcome and would be prepared to stay again if/when in the area again.

    The accommodation was set in lovely surroundings and the horses being so close made for an interesting stay. The breakfast rashers were amazing and it felt as if everything you could need had been provided. I went into this having had limited contact with horses and although I am still a little nervous of them, mainly due to their size, Phoenix and dotti were really calm and friendly. I would definitely recommend a stay here!
