    FIrst time staying at a Holiday inn and was impressed by comfort and value for money. Large room, comfy bed, quiet and all the usual amenities. Breakfast was included and very good. Staff were very welcoming and you felt valued.

    We go horse racing to Chelmsford quite often so the Braintree holiday inn is very convenient. I find the bed too firm for me. Otherwise it is perfect for our stays.

    The room was large with a king-size bed and a sofa plus a couple of upright chairs. Shower was great. I love that the Holiday Inn Express still provides extra items such as an ironing board and iron in the room. The buffet breakfast is included in the room price and there's plenty of choice. Staff were all friendly and welcoming. Parking is free and it was easy to find a space. There's a Toby Carvery on the same site which was a reasonably priced venue for our evening meal. So overall a really good overnight stay.

    I was the 1st I'd stayed at Holiday inn. And it will now be my hotel of choice The staff at the Braintree HI express were friendly,cheerful,helpful,polite and great fun to be around, I would like to give extra praise to the 2 ladies that were on reception on the evening of the 22/03/24 and also again at breakfast on the 23rd . The cheerfulness and extremely good service is to be commended

    The location was ideal being near to major roads and including free parking. It was extremely good value for money. The Toby carvery next door was convenient for an evening meal. Based on our stay, we would definitely book another Holiday Inn Express.

    The front of house staff were the friendliest I have come across. We were leaving at 4am, and they ensured that we had food and coffee prior to leaving. The place that we had been staying for the previous two nights cost more than twice as much, in a similar location, but was not anywhere near the standard of the Holiday Inn.

    I have stayed here for work 2x and the staff have always been brilliant, and super friendly, always clean and tidy too. Both times I have stayed here for 4 nights which is probably a bit long to stay in a holiday inn express - I think a night or 2 will be ok but any longer it could be a bit tedious.
