We stayed for one night in the garden cottage, which we found to be comfortable and very clean. The part which has already been modernised is the bathroom and we found it to be exceptionally clean and up to date. We have stayed in many newer hotels which were nowhere near as gleaming and clean. They are all so lovely but Dal in particular went the extra mile! He was a taxi service and picked my elderly grandparents up from a family party and made sure they made it back to the hotel safe and sound and he wouldn’t accept any money for it which was so kind!
