Very nicely presented apartment iin a beautiful quiet location but within close reach of Eyemouth and Berwick on Tweed.. In addition to tea and coffee, there was a welcome bottle of milk and a range of cereals, sauces and biscuits. The hosts are very welcoming and friendly. The pub offers nice dinners and a friendly place to visit in the evening

    Friendly atmosphere. Locals in the bar were warm and friendly. Staff were exceptionally helpful, food was delicious and breakfast was definitely mansized. Rooms were adequate for weekend stay. Locale was great for exploring the border region.

    We loved our stay at the Waterloo so much.The staff were so nice and helpful.The breakfasts were cooked beautifully and were very sustaining.Our room was spacious and very quiet.Special thanks to Angie and all the staff for looking after us beautifully.

    This small homely hotel is situated very close to the place we wished to attend. The staff were very helpful and friendly, making us very welcome from prior to and during our stay. In particular I have to mention Andy,Kimberly, and Kate. The room was warm and comfortable, which was a concern before we arrived as it was early January after all, and I must again thank Andy and Kimberly for an excellent breakfast on the day of our departure.

    Beautiful old building with gorgeous views. Booked for an evening meal during our stay and it was amazing food. It’s not cheap but you get what you pay for. Will definitely be making a return visit at some point.

    a lovely old pub. they were happy for our dog to stay. food was great value and very tasty. we stayed for pizza night and had s lovely breakfast. friendly people and nice clean comfortable room.
