Accommodation in Iona

It was raining when we arrived at the ferry landing, so we were grateful that our lodging was just a block away. Accommodations were quiet, clean, and comfortable, and the wifi worked well for us. Big picture windows gave us a view of the bay. Continental breakfast was very good, with fruit and yogurt and granola and other cereals, large scones with butter and jam, juice, and tea and coffee. The host was quite friendly and helpful.

Great place for a relaxing and remote stay. Warm welcome from Richard and the staff. We were happily surprised to have someone picking us up from the ferry while the rain was pouring. Accommodation is really friendly and clean. We enjoyed a lot our stay. Also Richard was nice enough to prepare us a little take away breakfast while we had to leave at 6:30 (outside of the breakfast hour). Strongly recommend this place.

Super-comfortable accommodation. I absolutely loved my time staying in this pod. I was warm, comfortable, private and had a view of the Iona Sound. The bed was really comfortable and had lovely cotton sheets. The compact wee pod was so clean, so stylish and had everything I wanted, including a heated towel rail. Perfect!

Loved our stay at the Iona Pods. The pod had everything we needed and the shared toilet facilities were very clean. The location was great for exploring Iona and having a nice quiet holiday. All the staff we spoke to were very helpful and the community had a very relaxed, laid back atmosphere. Would definitely recommend

Beautiful, peaceful pods with well-equipped kitchen. Very comfortable bed. Stunning view. Semi-private picnic table area out front. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Amazing stay. Best of whole vacation.

Our party were met at ferry and escorted to accommodation which was 5 mins walk, amazing rooms, very accommodating, friendly and knowledgeable of Iona, could not have been more hospitable, the continental breakfast with porridge scones and cereals options were first class also restaurant and gift shops next door Martyrs bay across the road our stay was perfect many thanks for adding this to our magical stay and visit.

Have stayed before so I knew what to expect - it’s a great fun option of accommodation on Iona

From being collected by car from the ferry on my arrival till the end of my two night stay here nothing was too much effort. The accommodation was first class and spotlessly clean, yet relaxed, warm and welcoming. Breakfast was superb and I particularly loved the local, fresh, free range eggs! Richard is a first class host who goes above and beyond, putting his heart and soul into ensuring every guest feels very welcome, relaxed, comfortable and at home here. I now know why Ardoran House is rated so highly. Highly recommended !
