I loved the location. It was quiet and peaceful. It had its own parking spot. A big deal in Scotland. Very spacious and clean. Wish we had been staying longer in the area!!

Great inn off the beaten track! The hotel is across from an ruined Abbey and along a river, where you could easily vision people fly fishing. Can easily vision this place for a wedding destination. They had several sitting rooms you were able to sit at, and there were picnic tables outside. We were able to book for dinner and the menu was very good. Our stay included breakfast and again the food was good -- you could order pretty much anything you wanted. The room was a pleasant surprise -- very spacious and we enjoyed having a sitting area. IF you are looking for somewhere away from the hustle and bustle of life than you should check the place out. Definetly a spot i would return to!

    Staff were exceptionally helpful when we needed to bring forward our booking. This was an overnight stop on our way home from a holiday in Scotland and with Storm Babet forecast we needed to travel earlier than planned. The setting was beautiful, we would have liked to stay longer.
