Everything else was great apart from not been shown to my room and what time bar was shut and where breakfast room was but the night guy helped me so much very polite very helpful guy credit to your hotel I asked for late checkout they said not a problem only to find there was late checkout fee wasn't told and message wasn't passed on

The hotel is located in a ship with a varied history - used during wartimes, but also for trade, then for a playboy‘s party life, it had been left unused for many years before the current owners restored it. Hotel rooms are designed as cabins with en-suite bathrooms, breakfast and drinks are served in the upper deck. We loved the design of the rooms and common areas - high quality and nicely classic without any kitsch. Service was impeccable, and while breakfast was rather simple, the bar served very creative cocktails. Certainly a very unique experience!

What can I say, from the minute you step in the door the fire is so inviting. We had our wedding ceremony at 3.45pm and the hotel made sure our room was ready on time, we had a welcome glass of champagne as well as the hotel bringing us a bottle to our room. Stunning view, modern decor, nespresso machine, immaculate and a Dyson hairdryer shows the quality and attention to detail in this hotel. Thanks to all who made our stay special ❤️

The room was great overall! It had a good size and was very clean. The bathroom was the best part however (spacious with big shower). The room had a private garden, but it was cold and rainy during our stay, so unfortunately we couldn't enjoy it. There was an electric kettle, coffee/tea provided, hairdryer. The hotel has a great location and is around 40 min on foot/ 20 min with the bus from the old town. Many small shops and cafes in the areas as well. The cleaning lady was very kind.

    Can’t describe how beautiful this place is, fabulous castle and amazing surroundings, lovely helpful staff. We traveled in many places of the world but never stayed in a more fabulous accommodation and location. We’ll definitely come back. If you are planning your wedding this is the place for you. Large rooms, traditional style, super breakfast, the most peaceful morning we had in a very long time. We literally didn’t want to leave. Thank you to all your staff who made our stay so amazing.

    I loved the entire experience in staying in a Manor Home. It had all I hoped for from the accomodation, sitting rooms, bar area, dining and breakfast areas and the garden area. Also the walking in the woods so close and relaxing. The staff were excellent and helped us as soon as we arrived.

    My friend and i had a great stay at the ship inn. We have known the pub for years and the renovation really made a big difference. Lovely pub with great staff, awesome accommodation with coffe, orange juice, milk and cornflakes.
