We have stayed in five star hotels all over Europe during our six week trip and Paul’s place was by far our favourite. If we could give it six stars we absolutely would. From the moment of booking until the moment we left, Paul’s service was impeccable. He personally arranged our transport to and from the airport, greeted us warmly at 1am in a very dapper suit and even helped carry our luggage in and out of the apartment. That level of care immediately set the tone for what turned out to be the best stay of our journey. Inside, the annex feels like a private luxury suite rather than a rental. It is spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and filled with thoughtful touches. We arrived to find fresh pastries, croissants, danishes, two blueberry muffins, biscuits, a bottle of wine and a fully stocked selection of teas, coffees, juices and cereals. High end toiletries, fluffy towels and even a Dyson Airwrap and GHD hairdryer are provided. The huge TV was a real treat for us to unwind in front of and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We also loved the peaceful garden setting with its charming fish pond lit up at night. It felt private, serene and very special. Reading other guests’ reviews before we booked we wondered if it could really be that good. It is, and even more. Paul consistently anticipates his guests’ needs, whether that is calling ahead to ask what drinks or muffin flavours you prefer. Time and again reviewers talk about his attention to detail, generosity and genuine warmth, and now we understand why. He manages to combine the professionalism of a top hotel with the personal touches of a gracious host. We are incredibly grateful for everything Paul did to make our stay seamless, comfortable and memorable. This property offers outstanding value for money and Paul’s hospitality elevates it far beyond a simple overnight stop. We cannot recommend it highly enough and will definitely be back. Thank you Paul for creating such a wonderful experience.

    The reception ladies have been fantastic, so helpful. Loved the pool, steam, sauna. I didn't go in the gym or jaccuzi but looked fine. The bedrooms were lovely, the hotel garden area is beautiful. We had our breakfast out there. The restaurant ladies were also so lovely. We couldn't have had a better and more comfortable stay x

    The staff (bar and reception staff) were super friendly and accommodating - Adam went above and beyond to help us with checking in! The hotel grounds are absolutely beautiful and the room I stayed in was done up well, clean and spacious. All our rooms had fans in them during the stay as it got really warm.

    The grounds and main buildings made a fantastic setting. The room was clean and was ideal for a one night stay. Check-in was easy and staff were friendly. I was aware of the amenities that were available but, it was a flying visit and I only required a bed for the night as I was leaving early on the Wednesday morning.

    Great hotel. Two issues, one was the key card wouldn’t work on a few occasions meaning I had to go back to reception and get a new card cut each time. (I kept it away from my phone so this was not the issue) Found the menu quite limited if you only wanted a light bite. Ended up going out for dinner both nights as I didn’t want a full meal. However, I wouldn’t let this put me off staying again. The room was exceptionally clean, had everything I needed and the bed super comfy! Staff were lovely.
