BananaHouse is the perfect stay in Kefalonia for more than one reason. Firstly the owners, Liverous, Nikki, Kostas, Joana and Dafne are the nicest family and the most perfect host that you can meet. They have a vegetable farm with organic grown tomatos and veggies that taste like childhood. Secondly the location, settled just a few steps near Lourda beach in natural shadows all around the house, where you can find a few tropical trees beside the bananas, there is papaya tree, orange and olive tree and a lot more, a little pieace of heaven. Thirdly the beach - Lourda beach has light blue colour is big with clear water and you can find sun beds or place where you can stay beside them. If you dont like big beaches right behind the path of the beach, there is another one almost empty with few turtle eggs nest. Also is a good starting point to explore the island. The house has a parking and right next to it a supermarket, also good coffee shops in one minute walking, tavernas and one of the best beer bar in the island (Platanos). The internet was very fast and stable. Hot water all the time. BananaHouse is a small jewel on the island. Just perfect!!!

We LOVED our stay at Trapezaki Garden Villas! The view from the villa is absolutely breath-taking, the villa and surrounding were immaculate and very tranquil, the swimming pool is lovely and the vegetable garden a real bonus (fresh tomatoes, aubergines, basilicum!). The location is really handy for all sorts of outings. Amanda was super helpful in giving tips, even before we arrived. We (a family with 2 teenagers) highly recommend Trapezaki Garden Villas!

The little house is very cozy and welcoming! It is situated in a quiet village and very well placed regarding the distances to the beaches in this part of the island and taverns. The owner, Elena, is very warm and helpful; after 3 days of staying we received fresh towels, shits and they cleaned into the house (we never had this type of facility when booking a house at this price, so it was a nice surprise), the yard was constantly kept tidy. We will definitely choose it again when we return to Kefalonia!

    Everything was exceptional about this property. From the design as a whole to the pool areas, the well equipped kitchens, the furniture and decor and just the general feeling of being in such a beautiful space. It all feels like brand new and is so comfortable and clean. It was perfection. We stayed in both the villas as we had two families holidaying together. This gave us more than enough space. We would switch between the two pools and houses as we pleased.

    Where do I start? It has been the most amazing stay for our first family holiday. Amanda is the loveliest, welcoming and accommodating host. We were able to help ourselves with the veg and eggs from the garden and anything we needed, she went beyond to help us out. The villa itself is perfect for couples or a family holiday. Has every facility you could need and had a home from home feel. On top of this, the view is spectacular. We’ll be back again next year. Thank you Amanda!

    The room was better then pictured , the bed was INCREDIBLE so comfortable, the owners checked in often to see if we needed anything and it was extremely clean . This was our favourite accommodations after traveling a month in Greece . Would absolutely book again . Also the beach close by is clean and beautiful.

    Beautiful, spacious and really well equipped house that has everything you might need even for a longer stay. Everything super clean and in good working order. Heike was a friendly and accommodating host. The area is super quiet and private, perfect for a peaceful holiday. Argostoli and beaches about 15 minutes by car. Friendly dog and cats around. :)
