At first we were disappointed in general, before we entered the hotel (far from the sea, behind the road). But then everything changed. A luxurious hotel, garden, pool and service from Nektarios (the owner). We got the best salad in the world I have ever eaten as a welcome, every morning cups of fruit of outstanding taste. We have never experienced such care from the hotel owner (!). An invitation to dinner in a non-touristy typical restaurant, the next day a trip to the mountains for a private party in the middle of nowhere! Nektarios showed us all the interesting places to go. He recommended the palm beach of Vai (the best of all, although there were a lot of tourists, but it was possible, you can climb over the rock and you are alone) and the deserted ones. So swimming in the sea was good in the end. It was an experience like staying with a friend, a friend who loves you. And we thank him (his wife and others) very much for these three days in his beautiful hotel.

We travel a lot and have stayed in countless accommodations, but to be honest, I don’t know if I’ve ever been to a better value-for-money stay. The apartment is huge, spotless, well-furnished, and has a penthouse feel to it. It’s perfect for a whole family or a group of friends. The furnishings are modern and in great condition. Our host, Olga, is very kind, flexible, and helpful. If you’re looking for a place to stay in Sitia, look no further. We’ll definitely stay here again whenever we visit Crete.

We visit Crete very often. Our favorite region is the north-eastern part of Crete. We decided to stay at Manolis House and it was the best decision. The house is beautiful. We spent almost 4 weeks there. It was recently renovated and done beautifully. It has two very comfortable bedrooms with large beds. One with a large window and an amazing view of the sea, huge cliffs and olive groves. Very well-equipped kitchen. The biggest advantage is the view. It's breathtaking. You can spend the whole day on the large terrace and you won't get bored of the view. The house is located in a very quiet area. You can sleep with the windows open. A private parking space is a great convenience. The owners are very nice and helpful. Manolis House is the best place in Crete we have stayed so far.

    This is one of the most amazing places I’ve ever stayed! The hosts made me feel so welcome and cared for, nothing was too much for them! The location was superb, with the beach a short walk from the accomodation. The breakfast each morning was fantastic overlooking the water and city. I can’t speak highly enough of this place!

    Very clean and comfortable and great to have a pool..Nektarios was an exceptional host, welcoming us with wine and lunch of salad and figs from the garden. He went out of his way to make our stay as happy as possible with wonderful trip suggestions and very good restaurant recommendations, which we would never have found otherwise. We would stay again if holidaying in Eastern Crete

    The appartment was clean, spacious and very well located. The terrasse was a nice plus and is surprisingly "private". The beach is just across the street, the marina and the restaurants about a 5-8 min walk. It is seriously one of our (if not the) best accommodations we had in Crete. The lady at the reception was as nice as can be and very helpful with various details. They welcomed us with a fresh juice. What more to ask?

    The view from our studio was breathtaking.!!! You could seat on the huge veranda and just listen to the sea. It was the most relaxing holidays we ever had! The studio itself was beautiful, exactly as shown on the pictures. It had everything you needed for a short or long stay. Denisa our host, was an exceptional young lady, very welcoming and pleasant to to talk to. She did everything to make our stay enjoyable. Thank you Denisa for your warm hospitality.     Ellie is a warm and engaging host and did everything to make sure that we could enjoy our vacation. We enjoyed the stay very much. Ellie is very helpful and gave us valuable tips for excursions and restaurants. We also enjoyed the fine cookies she provided for our reception. The bedrooms are spacious and the apartment is well equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, coffee maker, oven and microwave. Since we cooked often, rather small things like a good knife, a large bowl or a grater were missing.

    The property was located in the center, meters away from the main port and the heart of this beautiful city. The hotel itself is like finding a diamond in the rough as it is one of a kind for Sitia. It has all the luxury accommodations you would find in large hotel chains, and even exceeds them. The room was spacious, very modern and was equipped with both a full spa/Jacuzzi and a steam room. I enjoyed the stay and highly recommend anyone that enjoys a this part of the island to stay in this lovely hotel with eyes closed.
