Absolutely fabulous! The location is great, staff is excellent (they remembered our names which was a nice added touch), cleanliness is top notch, the design and style is perfect. The food was not my favorite, I preferred to eat out. The value for the money was decent- it’s a bit overpriced but I’d still go back! I didn’t find a better place so far as location, accessibility, quietness, and helpfulness of the staff. Thank you all!

We spent three nights here and were absolutely delighted with our stay. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable, making it easy to relax and enjoy every moment. The staff deserves special praise. They are attentive, responsive, and truly pleasant people. They handle any questions related to tourism around Gili professionally and with care. It was also wonderful to see how much effort they put into maintaining the beach, the tables, and creating a welcoming space for guests. The restaurant is outstanding. The chef prepares a fantastic tuna steak, easily one of the best we have ever had. Every dish is fresh, flavorful, and served with great attention to detail. The place itself feels like paradise: a beautiful beach with soft sand, stunning sea views, and a peaceful, welcoming atmosphere. This is definitely a spot we would love to return to again and again. A big thank you to the Mowie’s team for making our holiday so special!

Everything, the facilities are great, the staff are super friendly and accommodating and the food is delicious. I had a sound healing there and it was next level, just when I thought couldn’t get more relaxed, I did, felt like I was floating.

Very nice, clean, and modern (we were there in December 2024). Very quiet too, as this is a fair distance from the mosque (it never woke us up). Very friendly staff. Four good breakfast options. We had an amazing stay. Thanks a lot.. Note, for those who care, the shower is on salt water, but not a problem for us. Pachamama restaurant that is just across the road is also fantastic.

Just everything was great. I even extended because I enjoyed it so much. 4 new very comfortable bale spacious villas with a pool. When I arrived the first night I was alone and I felt very welcomed and comfortable. I had everything I needed. AC, fridge filled with sodas and beers. Great big Smart TV and a nice pool. The staff is super friendly. The 3 guys who run this spot are so nice and always there if you need anything. I rented the bike everyday and was reaching everything by bike. But you are also in walking distance to everything. Beach, bars, restaurants, shopping. Breakfast was really nice. I could choose from different juices, eggs, pancakes, Frensh toast and fruits. It was very relaxing because super quite. You do not gear the Mosque from here I will be back Thank you for making me feel like home .

I found this accommodation casually browsing but I am so happy I did. This is a little gem in Gili Air. I loved everything from the welcoming with a fresh towel and iced tea as I got here very tired and hot was just what I needed. The staff is amazing super friendly and kind especially Halid that gave me a little insight of the island with places to eat/activities… The room is just super cute, very spacious , clean and just the vibe I was looking for. There is nothing not to like about this little beautiful gem.

    Superb location 2min walk from beach. Only 5 accommodations total so nice and quiet. Lovely pool and general setting - tropical feel. Yummy breakfast. Great property but maybe missed that something special for a great stay considering the money you pay.

    - Breakfast was included - Free tea/coffee - The owners were incredibly accommodating and welcoming. Das and Nobby made us feel at home and I would recommend anyone to stay here - The rooms are large and have everything you need: AC, private bathroom. About 5 min walk to the harbour and 1 min to the Main Street - Very affordable compared with other Gili Air accommodations

    We had an amazing stay, we absolutely loved our accommodations. 15 min walk from the Harbour in a quiet place, but 2 min away from beach and the busy area. It was clean and the staff were always friendly and helped us with everything what we asked for! I would definitely come back

    I stayed in one of the little bungalows and it was really cute and nice, everything you need in there. The property is super big with lots of different types of accommodations. Can be social if you want to but also fine if you want to chill by yourself. Not your typical hostel

    We had a great time on Gili Air and the Buntung Villa🙃 Compared to many other accommodations we stayed in Indonesia Villa Buntung should definitely be rated „excellent“: Perfect location for a family! Quiet, private, great pool, top kitchen facilities , working Wlan, TV with international channels + Netflix. And on top the very friendly and most helpful staff.

    I extended my stay more than 3 times. Great staff, location and vibes. I made new amazing friends the very moment I arrived, and even met with the owners and their newly born baby boy. :) Everyone is so friendly and you feel like you've known them for ages. The food was fantastic too. I have seen many people come from different accommodations to Begadang specifically to enjoy food and music, and to make new connections. I literally lived/enjoyed every moment and was happy with my choice. Hopefully will be back in the future.
