I can only highly recommend this place if you are looking for a lovely accommodation where you can just relax. We loved staying here and wished we could have extended (stayed two nights). We had the villa which was such a treat for three people. It’s very spacious, lovely seating area outside, a balcony and a large bathroom with a bathtub and a shower. The staff were amazing. We also enjoyed the breakfast overlooking the pool and greenery. There are several restaurants nearby and also a beautiful spa where we went to get a facial treatment (more pricey than elsewhere). Abian Ayu Villa offers massages and we loved it, highly recommended for a very reasonable price.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff were so wonderful and welcoming. The room was spacious, comfortable, clean and beautifully designed. The location was perfect, everything was in walking distance. Amazing views looking over the rice fields. The bed was so comfortable, and my breakfast every morning with a hot coffee with the best views just made the whole experience delightful. There’s a spa room literally next to the room I was staying in, so definitely book in a massage if you stay here!

From the moment we arrived, we felt staying with family. Jero and four of her five daughters welcomed us warmly. We arrived late, and Jero was kind enough to prepare some dinner for us. Breakfast was abundant. Jero, her daughters, and all staff had always a smile on their lips. Jero had good tips for sightseeing. The hotel is located on an island between two river arms. Sleeping in nature and no noise - a paradise.

This was without a doubt the best accommodation experience of my life. It truly felt like home to me (especially since I was working remotely during the day and ended up spending more time at the accommodation than most travelers). There are so many great things about this place: 1. The host was incredibly kind and friendly, and shared a lot with us about daily life in Bali 2. The room was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable, with daily cleaning 3. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious 4. The terrace offered a lovely view, and the sounds of birds and insects in the natural surroundings made me feel deeply relaxed This place is truly unforgettable, and I will definitely come back again

Incredibly nice place to stay. It is in a very quite location, but the river gives this peaceful action and it is always awesome to spend time near or in the pool. The street nearby is not busy and it didn't bother us at all. It is better to have a scooter to reach nearby restaurants and rice fields. Host rented a scooter for us for a very good price.

It's amazing place to stay in Sidemen. Probably the cleanest place we stayed in Bali. It's private area with 2 villas with pool and lovely garden full of butterflies and birds. Owner is very kind, friendly, helpful,... we felt like part of his family. We wish we could spend more time here. Let's hope there no overturism in Sidemen.

Everything is just perfect. It felt like as if we would stay with our family. The warmth and love of the hosts is just exceptional, the cleanliness, the spacious room, the location, the beautiful nature and many more just made our trip unique. We had a cooking class with the hosts Made & Putu, went to the rice fields together, could borrow their scooter and we always got extras for breakfast and lunch. Made & Putu have a special place in our hearts and we will come back soon!

    Jana's homestay was a fantastic place to stay. We had to move accommodation in Sideman due to an issue at our other hotel and they welcomed us with open arms at short notice and late at night. Room was very spacious and comfortable, comfortable bed, good aircon and large bathroom. Staff were friendly and breakfast was decent.

    Value for money. Only complaint (which we knew going into the stay) is that there is no aircon. The pool is definitely the highlight of this accommodation. The onsite restaurant was really good too!

    Amazing place to stay. Very friendly and helpful staff, helped us rent scooters, a ride paddie trek, and organised our taxi onto Padangbai for a great price. Brilliant value. Beautiful views across the rice paddies - one of the best views we’ve ever had at an accommodation. Clean, good air-con, and a lovely pool. Great location near some brilliant restaurants and Warungs. They organised us a great hiking tour of the rice paddies too. Stay here! And make sure you go to a new restaurant nearby called Nivriti - it’s incredible.

    Everything at Sandag Hill was sensational. The accommodation, the view, the facilities and the service. Gede and his wife were so helpful and friendly, happy to arrange anything we could possibly need. From the pictures and reviews I wondered whether it was too good to be true, but the reality absolutely measured up and went far beyond our expectations. It's such a gorgeous and calming environment, we would love to stay again.

    The hotel is absolutely great! It is at the end of a street with some restaurants and accommodations. Therefore, it did not feel so isolated, but still very quiet. The rooms are quite spacious and the A/C is working well. The view is amazing and the staff works very hard to provide you with an amazing experience.

    The location is perfect. It's the center of sideman by so many restaurants and mini Mart and scooter rental everywhere. It's the best area of sidemen being central to everything. Since there's really nothing to do here and that the only thing you can do is only here. This homestay is comfortable and offers good accommodations for functional needs.

    Quiet and peaceful accomodation with a beautiful view (especially from the family room). The staff was very friendly and helped me arranging transportation. The breakfast was also great. As the accommodation is in the middle of the nature, there might be some little visitors (little frogs, gecko’s) in the room. The room was a bit hot though. Nevertheless, I would definitely recommend staying here when visiting Sidemen.
